Acne was probably my biggest insecurity through my teenage years and throughout my career I was always stressing out and my face would break out with pimples, it was a total nightmare!

I agree that there are many different ways to treat acne and that each person is different. Some people have mild acne cases that a little clay mask will fix, while more severe or chronic cases don’t find help until they get to the root of the problem of what is causing it internally.

For instance, my skin got much worse when I tried antibiotics, Retin-A, and Benzoyl Peroxide. These all just gave me more inflammation both internally and externally.

When I stopped all of this and focused on food allergies, no sugar Candida diets, and started oil cleansing my acne cleared enormously after years of struggling.

I think in Western cultures, we all want a quick fix and do not have the patience to learn what is causing our problems. This leads to a lot of disappointment when the same problems occur or the drugs just cause new ones.
