Zyporex – Finally Reviewed…
“Zyporex? What’s that? Has anyone used it?” I’ve been seeing this question all over the net. You can’t go to an acne forum (e.g. Yahoo Answers, Acne.org, and the My Acne Review Forum) without seeing a post about this new product. But there aren’t many useful responses or reviews yet so I decided to investigate it myself and provide you with as much information about it as possible.
Product: Zyporex
Source: http://www.zyporex.com
Let me start by saying that Zyporex is basically just an exfoliating scrub. So, while it has some differences to make it better, if other exfoliating scrubs have not “cured” your acne, then neither will this one.
Now let’s take a closer look.
All exfoliating scrubs are great to use. They clear away the dead skin and remove dirt from pores. This in itself is beneficial for preventing acne on mild acne sufferers. However, I must emphasize the word “mild” in that statement. Exfoliators, like other skin-application products, while beneficial for everyone, are only effective against acne for very mild sufferers; this type of sufferer will only have 2-3 pimples maximum at a time and will primarily still have great skin. If this is you, then by all means try this product.
But if not.. if you are a severe sufferer.. or if you have a number blemishes and red marks all over the place.. or even just an outbreak in one particular area of skin, this product will do absolutely nothing other than make your skin feel fresh.
Now before I continue with the criticism (which I do below), I always like showing both sides to any argument, so in that spirit here’s what’s makes Zyporex better than other exfoliators…
- Most of the ingredients are natural (e.g. avocado, aloe vera etc). This is good because it will not dry your skin like benzoyl peroxide does in products like Oxy10 or Proactiv. In addition, natural ingredients mean that your skin feels rejuvenated and oil is minimized, which is also beneficial for preventing acne.
While that is a great thing for a product to offer this, the same effect can be received by washing using any facial scrub and simply using a natural cream to follow it, like something with aloe vera or avocado. What’s more, the combined cost of a facial scrub and a natural cream or mask would be something like $10-20 for a decent quantity, whereas Zyporex costs $30 for a 1 month supply.
You would be better off buying Himalayan Crystal Salt which would cost $10 for a bar that would last 6 months to 1 year and is more effective (I wrote a post on this earlier – Treatments for Acne Symptoms – and I have a section on it in my acne book). Additionally, using this in most cases will do nothing for the cause of acne which is not found in the skin. As mentioned earlier it is an underlying issue and acne is a symptom of it (see What Causes Acne? Behind The Science).
If we leave the product alone now, there are still other things to consider before looking at this product.
Firstly, you cannot buy this anywhere but from zyporex.com or from a single eBay seller, so it would be fair to say that only one person is selling this product and anyone else advertising it is an affiliate selling for the same person to make some money.
As if that wasn’t enough, one of the sites selling this product (acnecuresrevealed.net) lists it as one of the Top 5 acne treatments available. But, if you look at the other 4 products – Acneticin, Orovo Acne Kit, Oxycerin, and Asso Gold Cleansing Bar – all of the websites look almost identical in layout and format. ‘So what?’ you may ask. So that means that, most likely, the same person created each of the sites and simply knows about internet marketing and is trying to make money from a very large online market. In this sense, they probably wouldn’t even care that I am reviewing it because simply mentioning the product gives it a better rank on Google.
So, I may have rambled on a bit too much but I think it is important to know what a product is before buying it. If after reading this, you believe it is still worth trying then give it a try! There is nothing wrong with trying things and this IS a useful product for your skin! But if you have anything more than a light case of acne then, other than having fresh feeling skin, this product will probably not help you with your breakouts.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
To avoid any confusion here is some additional information about the ingredients of Zyporex.
In reference to the product being all natural, that is not entirely accurate.
Firstly, the extraction process generally used to retrieve nutrients and oils from herbs and fruits (the majority of the ingredients in the product) most often reduces the value and benefit of the nutrients altogether.
The vitamin content in Zyporex is 100% synthetic.
- Ascorbyl palmitate (the vitamin C content) is created by combining two forms of acid and is also used as a food additive
- Retinol palmitate (vitamin A content) is a manufactured form of vitamin A and is the form that can lead to adverse side-effects
In addition, one of the more prominent ingredients (determined by its position in the list) is sulfur, which may be the cause of the high allergic reaction rate.
The product also contains the following non-natural ingredients:
- preservative
- peptides
- glycerin (usually a byproduct of extracting other oils)
- hyaluronic acid (an excess of this substance in the body has been shown to be involved in the progression of malignant tumors)
Please investigate these substances further if this description is unclear.

Hi! I am one of the idiots who was just suckered into purchasing not 1, but 2 of the products of this scam. I didn’t do the research until AFTER the purchase….pretty stupid, I know. Just curious, if this stuff doesn’t work (and I’m pretty sure at this point that it won’t) what do I do to turn someone like this in??? One item I bought on ebay and one through the Zyporex website. The Zyporex website offered a 100% money back guarantee, but who’s to say if I would ever see that refund! This is all a big “IF” anyway, but I was wondering, who I could turn an operation like this in to?? Isn’t there something a person can do? I mean, there is a ton of postings already when a person googles just one of the 5 of the item on their list of Top Remedies!! Thanks so much for your help!
Sincerely,
Carrie

George Cleanthous says:
Hi Carrie,
If they claim to offer a money back guarantee and don’t give it to you then that can be turned in as false advertising or fraud. Other than that, I am not sure that there is anything anyone could do about this as there is nothing the seller is doing that is illegal. It is just a business selling a product.
Although, because it is a business, if you request the refund I am sure they will most likely give it to you.
If they don’t, then I believe there are fraud companies you can report the website to and they will chase it up for you.
i.e. If you do not receive a response or they refuse to issue your refund, you can report this to the internet fraud entity in your country (there is a different one in each country I believe).
Also, if you purchased it from eBay you can report it for a refund, especially if you used PayPal. PayPal have a great buyer protection policy.
But like I said, they are a business so I’m sure they would give you the refund if you asked for it.

Carrie says:
Well, I received one of the two products I bought from this acnecuresrevealed.net place and here are the results thus far.
I have started using the Orovo Acne Kit. It was 54.99 and it was a 3 piece kit including:
- 60 Count bottle of Orovo pills
- ExFoZit Acne Scrub
- Acnev va Acne Gel
First, the pills make me sick to my stomach. It says to take them with a 12 oz. glass of water. I have taken the pills with plenty of water but they still make me sick to my stomach for about 2 hours.
Second, the scrub looks like baby poop and smells TERRIBLE! I don’t have really bad acne, just large pores that tend to get clogged. I think the scrub would be fine if it didn’t smell so darn bad. The smell acually makes me want to gag!!!
And Third, is the Acne Gel….on their web-site it says you can feel it work immediatly working, THAT YOU CAN! It feels like you just put VICKS on your face. It burns but with a cooling sensation (if that makes any sense) just like Vicks Vapor Rub.
Now, I am prone to very oily skin in the summer and very dry skin in the winter. Since I have started using this stuff, my face is so OILY it’s like it’s the middle of summer time again!! Also, I have a massive break-out on my face right now. I know that it is common to have a break-out when you switch products until your face gets use to the new product. However, with all the negative things about this product I don’t plan on continuing to use it.
I was dumb enough to buy 2 of their products. The 3 piece Orovo Kit which I bought on ebay from the seller: raphsun (ebay store: RexNutrition). They also operate on ebay under the user name: infodebac (Ebay Store: Orovo Store) They will allow me to return the product up to 30 days for a full refund but ONLY if the bottles have been unopened so they can resell them. Needless to say, I won’t be getting my money back on this one!!!
I ordered the Zyporex on 2-15-08 and I still have not gotten it (today is 2-23-08) but this product I ordered directly from the link on the acnecuresrevealed.net web-site.
GOD!!! I am so much smarter than this….If I can help just one person from becoming a victim of this scam I will sleep much better at night! :)
I will post again after I get the next round of bogus facial cleanser.
God Bless!

I had recently purchased Zyporex from there website also and am disapointed. Its just brown goo that is stated to be acne cleanser. What a scam. How do i get my money back? Do i mail it to them and wait or contact paypal? Someone get back to me please.

Cmetts74 says:
Ok….I FINALLY received the Zyporex in the mail. I immediately emailed them and asked for a refund. It took them a day or two to get back to me and they were very blunt and to the point with a one sentence response. They gave me the address where to return the product and that I needed to include the receipt. WELL, there was no receipt in the box that I received so I have sent them a message back asking them if the Paypal receipt would work since there was no receipt in the box. Well, that was 2 days ago and I have not heard a word from the since. I guess I will just have to wait and see! If I don’t hear from them soon I plan to send the product back to them to the address they gave me with a copy of the only receipt that I have (the paypal receipt). I will then see what happens. I really don’t expect to get my money back on this! I knew the minute I saw the reviews on these people that this was a scam.
I did inspect the Zyporex and it is EXACTLY the same thing as the ExFoZit scrub that I got with the 3 piece Orovo Acne Kit. It looks the same, smells the same, and the ingredients are exactly the same. The only thing that is different is the bottle. And the smell of that stuff is TERRIBLE! It makes my stomach turn every time I try to use it.
I hope this helps everyone and I sure hope that people come here before they are scammed into buying this stuff b/c it is a JOKE!! I did give it a fair chance!

I love this product!! It really worked for me. I had severe cystic acne on my arms and back and with the first use of this product I felt it actually working ton my skin. After just one week of use the acne was greatly diminished. After three weeks….. the acne is almost COMPLETELY gone. Thank God for Zyporex because all the other stuff didn’t work and yes I tried them all!

Carrie says:
Ok, they told me that the copy of the PayPal receipt would be perfect. I mailed the Zyporex back to them today (3-1-08). I guess I will just have to wait and see if and when I get my refund.
Just to clarify for everyone, I have tried just about every product there is and I have found that Clinique works the best for me personally. It helps to add a new product or switch toners when going from winter to summer just because I go from very dry skin in the winter to very oily skin in the summer. I have also found that wearing a powder foundation instead of a heavy liquid foundation helps cut down on keeping my pores from clogging up (I use the brand “Smoky Mountain Minerals” that I found on eBay which is just like the brand “Bare Minerals”, this foundation and concealer is great and it is really CHEAP!!)
If anyone has any helpful hints to share please let me know :)
As for the Zyporex or any of the 5 items related to that website, don’t waste your money!!

I have terrible acne and am 30. I was doing some research on treatments, since I have tried others that somewhat helped or didnt help or just my busy schedule kept me from doing regularly. Anyways, I just found the zyporex site and was like ” wow, I have to try this” then common sense set in just before I ordered and I decided to look for reviews…this is the only site I found and actually found it by someone else in a forum saying this was the only review he could find on it.
PRAISE GOD I found you guys and your reviews. I am so sorry to those of you that bought this. I hope that you find something that is REAL and does work. Thank you so much for coming here and talking about it…..you saved me a headache. (I was even going to order the 2 bottles to get the 12 hour miracle stuff)
Good luck in your search of clear skin, and again thank you.

Well, I actually got a FULL refund! I can’t believe it. I shipped everything back to them with a copy of the paypal receipt and in 6 days I got a full refund (including the original shipping charges to me). I am SURE this entire thing is a SCAM!!! I just got very lucky! However, when I did try to send them an email to thank them for refunding my money, my email was returned. It says their email box is full. That is never a good sign.

March 8th, 2008 at 1:34 pm
Carrie says:
Hi Jenny,
I use a mineral (powder) make-up that I love and it doesn’t clog my pores at all. I get it on ebay from smokymountainminerals or they also have a website by the same name.
It is just like BareEssentials but it is MUCH cheaper. Now, I do wash my face every morning and every night, I can’t sleep with my make-up on. I’m not sure how this stuff would do if you left it on overnight.
However, I DON’T recommend you buy Zyporex to wash your face..HA HA! That stuff is a joke!!
Hope this helps!
Sincerely,
Carrie

Hello all,
I just had to write and thank you all for being so honest and helpful with your responses. I have tried a number of products (proactive and just about every over the counter face wash) and have even been to two different dermatologists and still struggle with break outs. I am just extremely grateful that I did not fall for this “miracle” product, as I was just about to purchase Zyporex before I found this review site. God bless you all in pursuit of clear skin!

Well I was so frustrated about my skin that I too searched for and found the ‘5 top acne medications’ and immediately placed an order through e-bay. I haven’t paid for it yet as I sent the vendor an email asking to change my shipping address and I haven’t heard back from them. It’s been a few days, so I sent another email stating that if I do not get a response within the next 5 business days, cancel my order.
I should have researched this better before I jumped into it, (this is so not like me to get suckered in, but I was feeling desperate.)
So glad I found your site and I’m grateful for all the feedback. I guess I’ll go and visit a dermatologist before I try and find a ‘money back’ solution over the web. Thanks for giving me the wake-up call I needed. Like they say, if it’s too good to be true, it probably is.

Well, sorry to say that I was also suckered into one of the 5 products on the acnecuresrevealed.net. I bought the pill acneticin. I didn’t find any reiews on this product when I searched it yesterday, so I thought I would try it. Today I woke up and thought maybe I should try that face wash that they also had as their #1. So, I searched zyporex and I found this review. I feel so stupid, but thankfully I found this just in time, as I was just about to buy zyporex. Thinking back to yesterday, I did not pay with paypal and did not get a receipt. After reading what the other people said, I guess I can just kiss that money goodbye.
I have been useing proactive for 2 years now, my sister who has much worse than me has been using it for about 7 years. My sisters acne is much better than before, but it still is not near gone. I want mine gone forever as I’m sure you all do as well. I think my acne should be gone by now after using proactive for so long, but it’s not even near gone. I notice that when I do use the mask from proactive it does dry it up fast, “dry” being the key word, than I end up packing on the moisturizer, and will be clear (in that area) for a couple days, but will get new ones very soon. Proactive says that the 3 step system is supose to prevent new ones from forming, but they still form.
As you can see I’m very fustrated. I’m trying to find something that works, just ordered Exposed, does anyone know anything about this product? Does it work?

Hey I also purchase the zyporex without reviewing it first and doing a little research. Soon as I gave my information 3/11 something just told me to go research this product and I found this website stating it was a rip off…..Well early the next morning I called my bank and told them I didnt authorize that payment (it was still in the hold box) thank you Jesus! They canceled the order and put my funds back on my card and even changed my card #…..
But guess what???? Today 3/14 I still recieved the product in the mail so for all of you who has gotten rip off….THIS SHOULD MAKE YOU FEEL BETTER!!!! They sent me something that I didnt pay for well the payment got canceled before they could even do anything LOL!!! ha ha ha ha ha Thats what you get you fonie ZYPOREX fools……….
The product is sooooooooooooooooooooooo watery and stinks bad…I really want to take it and get it analyze and see what’s in this stuff bc they have a serious law suit on thier hands and I WANT TO GET PAID!!!! Can I get a AMEN!!!!

Wow I am soo relieved to see all this.
I fell into that ridiculous trap on the website… unfortunately.
i’m a senior in high school with prom/graduation coming up so i was on the internet and saw zyporex and ordered it (about 5 weeks ago) and have been using it daily.
I HAVE GOTTEN WORSE!!
i am breaking out in places i never did before (my cheeks), i am more oily in some places and dryer in others (it’s very uneven) and I was feeling sooo upset .
so i am home from school now and randomly decided to look up zyporex reviews and half felt stupid that i fell into the trap yet half relieved that it’s not just me but others have seen how it doesn’t work. i was beginning to hate myself and my stubborn skin.
i am immediately going to try to return it after seeing this and i hope to get my money back
the person controlling all those websites should be ashamed for putting innocent people through this.

So I recently ordered acneticin and then stumbled across this page which is apparently talking about the same company that sells zyporex and how they are a total scam. Has anyone actually tried the acneticin pills or is this a total waste of my time!!? The confirmation email I received was more than sketchy and now I’m getting concerned this was all a total waste. Should I try and cancel my order before they put it through or should I wait till I (hopefully) get the product and then send it back? Anyone have any experience with this product?

Who knows if thats whats really in their but I thought I’d try anyway. Hopfully it dosn’t make me break out more. I will keep you updated, please do the same.

Amber, Acneticin actually works. I was prescribed those pills and so were many of my friends by their own dermatologists. It is a very powerful pill and is to be used everyday. I emphasize everyday. I have been using zyporex for over 3months now. Yes 1 bottle has lasted me that long not the one month you that you have said. My skin has never felt better. I am 39 yrs old and have suffered from moderate to severe cystic acne. The ingredients in this product do not dry out my skin which is one of the leading causes of my breakouts. I’ve tried proactive and a number of others and this one finally has cleared my pores and they appear smaller and my breakouts now consist of maybe 1 to 3 pimples a month and they are not huge and painful. I am now buying my second bottle and I recommend this product personally. Mary, Massachusetts

I purchased Zyporex on Feb. 26, 2008. I used the product for about 3 weeks, and I have to say this has got to be the worst thing I have ever put on my face. My acne has gotten worse than it has ever been before, and my face is covered in blackheads. This product smells horible and actually hurts to use, because it is so gritty feeling. I have gotten huge cysts and pimples all over my face, and my skin is really dry in some areas and really oily in others, since I’ve started using this. I ordered this from the zyporex website. It says it is 100% refundable and I am going to send it back. Hopefully I will get my money back. If anyone knows of a truly ligit product for acne please let me know. I am getting ready to purchase Proactive, I’ve heard from friends and family that this is a good product.

Hi. I am Courtney S, and im a IBUYINTOCHEAPSCAMSOVERTHEINTERNET-holic. Yup. Today i bought Zyporex without reading the reviews until after buying it. Right now im using proactiv, and my face is almost totally clear. Its a great product. But it stops working for you once you have basically clear-ish skin. My pores are still pretty big, so i think thats my problem, cuz when ur pores are big, the dirt gets trapped easily. So instead of buying into internet scams like i did, try proactiv. and then find something at a STORE, to minimize your pores, it should work :D

Facts:
Zyporex doesn’t feel dry after wash but it sure does have a strong smell and a bit watery; not as I expected to see like in other scrub products I’ve used. I should have more to say after a week trial.

I have been using Zyporex for 2 weeks now exactly and it is one of the greatest acne treatments out there. I had bad acne, and according to the article above, my acne should not be cleared. However, after 2 weeks of using the product, my acne is 90 % gone, and I kid you not. You can even call me, 1-313-205-7485 and I will personally tell you my story about acne. I used everything from acnefree to pro-activ, and even had some prescription wash, but none have worked like Zyporex; not even close. Zyporex made my skin feel so smooth, and it did an amazing job at clearing my acne.

Hi Hilda, in regards to returning your product, I bought acneticin (which I think we’ve all agreed is from the same ‘company’ because their websites look exactly the same). I emailed their customer service address which was the only form of contacting them on their page and after a few emails they finally got back to me with an address to return the product to. I purchased the product straight from their website and they sent me a confirmation email with all of the information on it, so I am using that as my receipt. If you paid by credit card you should have an email receipt? So I would suggest emailing the Zyporex customer service address (every day if you have to!) and they will give you an address to sent it back to.

i dont work for them obviously because i have a student web site you retard. I go to detroit country day and am only 16. i have a facebook. try contacting me there? Im serious about this. How can you have reverse effects from a product that is ALL NATURAL. if you are allergic to this stuff then walking in a forest must suck because its basically all the natural ingredients from mother nature put into a solution.

Thank God I came upon this site in time.
I went to acnecuresrevealed when I followed a link from an article on acne on about.com
And you’re right, the websites for the 5 products look almost identical. And there is only ONE seller on ebay selling all 5 of these products exclusively. None of these products are being sold by anyone else except for affiliates. Which is safe to say that all these products belong to one person’s company so he doesn’t really care which product you buy.
It is all a huge scam, and thank god I wasn’t sucked into it.

George Cleanthous says:
Hi Ray,
In reference to the product being all natural, that is not entirely accurate.
I have now added this information to the article to prevent further confusion.
And to everyone, please remember that people react differently to each product so what works for you may not work for others. Zyporex will work for some people the same way that proactiv works for some and accutane works for others.

I am a mother of two who never had acne (even as a teenager) before. I am almost 30 and suddenly my face is breaking out with these big cystic pimples that are leaving scars on my face. I stupidly ordered Zyporex a few weeks ago and it has only made my skin WORSE. I have been unable to reach anyone about a refund. I am getting married in a few months and am desperate for clear skin on my wedding day. Has anyone else foolish enough to order these “fly by the night” treatments found anything that ACTUALLY WORKS?????

Hii! Okay, so I found this “review” after ordering zyporex. It’s supposed to come in today, I think. On tuesday I emailed the support thingy, and asked for them to immediately refund my purchase so they wouldn’t have to wast money shipping it to me.
I got an email this morning saying that my order has already been shipped, and they will gladly refund it, all I had to do was refuse the package, and it would be shipped back to the company. According to one of the posts up there, it says that Zyporex replies are very blunt; however, to me they seem very professional.
Perhaps it is a good product, perhaps it isnt, but you can’t judge based on how often it works. Different skin types respond to different ingredients DIFFERENTLY.
I don’t know. Now I actually want to try it, but ofcourse, you guys have made me parinoid…. haha
Also, don’t bomb on rachel. Like i said, different products work on different people.
If yuo have sensitive skin, then you should be in the right mind to be careful.

Hey Everyone,
I am soooo stupid!
Of course i fell into the zyporex scam, and now im sitting here with worse acne and
a bottle of nasty “natural” goo. I am really devastated, because I’m only 14 and I’ve had acne since 4th grade. I have horrible ugly spots everywhere on my face, there is no clear section. It’s also on by back, chest, and neck. I’ve tried proactive, benzoyl peroxide, and tons of prescription creams, pills, and lotions. Can anybody refer me to a treatment that will actually CLEAR my skin? I hate being laughed at. People think I’m just some lazy freak that doesn’t wash her face. It’s so depressing! So what worked for you guys?
Or what has been the most helpful, anyway?

Rachel says:
Hi All
I too was thinking one or all of these top five products could help accordinging to the rave reviews but I’m glad I read these posts. I’m also sorry that that means we all have to continue to search for something that might help.
I have heard of the Nlite laser that someone mentions here but I wonder whether that is better for scarring after the acne has cleared up rather than to cure and prevent further breakouts? I was prescribed Differin but I don’t think it is much good, I did have some improvement with Dianette (a contraceptive pill known to have have acne preventative properties) but it seems to have waned a little now.
I think internal pill treatments have to be the answer really as otherwise you are simply treating the symptoms rather than the cause. I think in women it is clearly hormone related as spots tend to get worse around certain times of the month.
Really, the only treatment that I have not tried is Roaccutane which has to be prescribed by a specialist doctor of dermatology. This is available in the UK and I presume in the US but has had some bad press in the UK. It basically dries everything out including the inside of your mouth and tongue, however, I think if it cures it once and for all it is worth it.
The good news is, from the doctors I have spoken to, it is the only treatment that has long lasting if not permanent effects after the course of treatment has finished. I also have first hand accounts of it’s success (ie total clearing up and no recurrence of acne) from personal friends of mine, though they did say that the dryness is obviously uncomfortable and embarrassing in front of others whilst it lasts. However, having tried virtually everything else, I think this is the one I will try now, I’ll just have to get a very good moisturiser!
I hope some of this helps some of you. Good luck with it, only people with acne really understand how debilitating and serious a condition it really is in terms of both physical and mental effects and I empathise with all of you, particularly those of school age, when it is particularly hard.

Hi. I ordered this product as well. I have a moderate acne with rosacea. Sucks big time. So I keep trying all of these new products to. I will admit anything natural is the best way to go when it comes to your skin. Harsh chemicals especially for people with rosacea only make things worse. Well let me tell you. This stuff is ugly and smelly, but it makes your skin feel pretty good. Until the itching starts and your face turns red. So needless to say I am returning this product. And the 12 miracle acne FREE GIFT well it’s FREE for a reason. It sucks. They even have a reorder website. Guess what? It doesn’t exist. For those of you who didn’t receive a receipt. Mine was emailed to me and I saved it just in case. Guess what everybody it comes from a merchant, NOT Zyporex, by the name: Experimental Nutrition Research LLC based somewhere in California. Interesting Facts. If this product works for you great. If you have rosacea to please save your money.

hey babe, you’re not stupid, those people that laugh at you are. they take it for granted that they have nice clear skin….they have no idea what the costs of having acne, both mentally & physically are. i can honestly tell you ive spent thousands of dollars on treatments, and nothing works. everything works 4 a few works, and then its back to square one. this might sound funny, but ive been to an iridologist, and i was taking this herbal concoction, it smelt bad, didnt taste the best, but i got used to it, and at first i broke out more, because that happens, but then i started clearing up, and my skin was so much better than it had been. but ive been off it because my hormones have balanced out. however, i still break out, just not as much as before. um, ive also used this product called lalisse. its pretty much all natural, and it does make a difference. check it out. the picture of the girl in the promo, is for real. ive met her, and her skin is about 85% clearer than what it was. i stopped using it because i found it was a bit drying for my skin. i worry more about these things because im 26yrs old, and i have to think about my skin aging as well. if it makes you feel better, ive been struggling with acne since i was about 12, and ive been humiliated many times by thoughtless people, and i am never without make up. people make fun of that, but if you had skin like i do, you would hide it as well. to this day, i still dislike people looking at my face, because im scared that they dont see me, just my bad skin….
just give lalisse a try. i think its http://www.lalisse. com. au
oh and im thinking of going back on the pill, coz that works a bit, but i dont want to ever do accutane, because ive been told that since i suffer from depression, thanks to my lovely skin, it would only make it so much much more worse.
so dont worry ashley, you have a friend in me and everyone else here if you need to talk :)

either way. I dont have bad acne, its just i have a bajillion scars b/c when i get acne, somehow, it'll leave a scar. So thats why i need something to keep the acne away.

I intend to send the package back as a Return to Sender and file a dispute claim with my credit card and let them go after these crooks. hey-o i just ordered zyporex.. before i ordered it i went through every ingredients on Wikipedia and every ingredient especially the prime ones sounded like they would really help ance like calendula it said
“The ointment of this herb is thought to cure a range of skin problems from burns to acne as it has properties that reduces inflammation, controls bleeding and soothes irritated tissue. Use externally or topically for minor wounds, eczemas and cysts as well as diaper rash and cradle cap in infants”
and comfrey one of the prime ingredients it said and i quote
“The herb contains allantoin, a cell proliferant that speeds up the natural replacement of body cells. Comfrey was used to treat a wide variety of ailments ranging from bronchial problems, broken bones, sprains, arthritis, gastric and varicose ulcers, severe burns, acne and other skin conditions.”
and tea tree oil we all know thats said to really help with acne. and thats in there too.
but now i have read all this reviews im scared to try it .. cuz i dont want it to make my acne worse.. i do think these guys are a scam but those ingredients are REALLY making me curious to try it.
i have been using differin for the past 4 months and i was really clean for awhile but now its back with a vengance.. .. but i really do think differin works i used it about two years agos and i was the clearest i have ever been .. then i came off of it cuz i got a bad sunburn from it .. but im just gonna be careful in the sun now. .. im really torn now though because i dont know if i should just try it or just return it right away .. << shoot i wrote alot sorry bout that

SOOOOOOO….. idk.
my opinoin to myles — try it. It may work
it actually has alot of good comments on ebay. (from that one guy who sells it )
well not “alot” but a few — some of them went like
“THIS IS AMAZING! tHIS IS MY SECOND ORDER! ILOVE IT!”
seems pretty legit to me; and i havent died from using it yet.
this is my last post
my suggestion is–
if you have a crapload of acne.
dont buy this product.
if you have mild acne depending on the sensitivity of your skin
and if you’ve already ordered it. Don’t worry about it, just try it out.
They’ll refund your money if it doesnt work out
also; yes it looks like brown pooop and i thought it smelled like death when i first opened it, but now (day 3) it’s really not bad at all — and it washes off completely so my skin doesnt smell like brown poop =]
my skin feels okay annnnnddddd for those who are stressing out after buying this product (like i was when i saw this review) it’s really nothing to make a big deal out of.
if ur face doesn’t have mountains of red on it, then i dont see any harm in this product.

I reverse number checked it, it is a landline in Detroit, MI. Ray if you read this please don’t ever put your phone number online esp. in a open forum.

Hi Jennifer,

I feel like if I remove it then it will be seen as censoring the comments, which I do not want to do. The comment section is a place for express all opinions regarding the product in review and Rachel seems to be the chief supporter for the product so for the time being I will leave it there.

Just wanted to update that I DID end up receiving a refund from Acneticin, such a relief! I thought I was gonna have to kiss that money goodbye. As for acne products, I was told about a product from South Africa called Environ. I’ve been using 3 products from this line for almost 4 weeks now and I have never used a product that has made such a huge difference in my skin (I’ve tried proactive, murad, and other topical stuff that the dermatologist prescribes). The products from this line can get a little pricey, but as a full-time student with not a lot of money I am still able to afford it. If you come across this product (I don’t think it can be purchased on the internet, but their website will tell you where to find it), give it a shot, I’m amazed at the difference in my skin – just wanted to share a product that I feel is actually working!

I was walking through my local shopping more today and was approached by a salesperson. He was trying to sell me a product called ’seacret’. Their website is ‘www.seacretspa.com’. I was wondering if anyone have tried this product before and whether or not it worked for them? like so many befor me, i convinced my parents to bey the product (well maby not everybody convinced there parents to bey it for them :)
that was 2 days ago.
I don’t know what to do.
i’v been on proactive for 1 1/2 years and nothings gotten better.
my parents started giving me yeast balls to swallow during meals (i don’t remember if it was befor or after eating) to help with the acne, i don’t even know if there was any science behind that.
i was put on medication by our familly doctor, all it did was make my lips dry, but acne was still there……..
(there is alot of controversy over poping pimple and black head and such, so as a side note, should i be done)
i havn’t seen a dermatoligist yet, but i most likely will…
as for the product, as i said. i ordered it 2 days ago and now i’m reading these reviews, about a half of you are saying this is a terrible product, a third is saying “thx for saying this is a terrible product” and the rest say, “ya it worked but that was just for me”
Complaining about something is easy, so that’s why so that’s why you all wrote, now, if a product work, but not many people would bother with saying that it did.
so there is my delema, plus, we bought the pack of 2 with the “12 hour acne treatment”…………………..
again, no idea what to do, probably just rambling, but anything you can say will help

hi everyone,
i found this site while reviewing zyporex and obviously didnt buy it.
i have a weird acne problem in that i have never suffered from it (now i am 23) during my teenage years, besides a pimple here and there now and then. but suddenly ( i am from south africa) when i moved to the usa (november) i developed serious inflamed acne on my shoulders. there are a few possible causes of this according to a dermatologist. 1) i left south africa in summer and arrived to a cold new york winter, big change in temperature, plus the use of heating for houses means that skin dires out a lot more. that is something i am not used to, back home we dont have heating, it never really gets that cold. 2) severe stress, i have been stressed dealing with my visa applications and i am getting married in the summer and have been writing final university exams. 3) since i arrived i have not been able to find my usual body wash that i use in south africa and so i have had to use local products.
any of these things could have caused it or aggravated it, i have been speaking to my mother who i coming over to visit me and she is a doctor. she can bring me prescription medicines, i cant afford to go to a dr here in usa yet, because i dont have healthcare, and she is looking into roaccutane, which she knows but says is only really for extreme cases. she also suugests an antibiotic called Doxycycline which is also used for malaria prevention, and has a few side effects like photosensitivity, but really helps clear things up. there are other products with the same chemmicals (look for cycline in the name)
i ordered proactiv out of desperation in the meantime, and it has made my skin softer and perhaps has reduced things a little, but its too expensive to keep using.
i am familiar as well with Environ products from south africa, they are very very good products and i have used them for other skin related problems in the past. they have a very good reputation and now that i read on this page that they do acne treatment i immediately emailed my mother to bring me some when she comes.

Plus. can somebody respond to the other question of, “is popping pimples appropriate?”
May 6th, 2008 at 11:34 pm
Vince says:
Steve B:
I wouldn’t advise popping pimples when they’re new, red and raw. Popping a pimple could make bacteria go deeper into the pimple which could make the problem worse and may even leave a scar.
However, if you see that the pimple has pus or a bit of green or white on the tip of it, u may like to pop it with a pin to release the pus. But make sure you disinfect the area as well as the pin to kill bacteria.
I have tried a wide variety of products before and there a some that i quite like. ASAP clearing gel and Clearasil extra strong pimple treatment are good for spot treatments. Dermalogica’s anti-bac wash feels cool and nice on the skin and it kills bacteria. Benzac AC facewash contains benzol peroxide and was a very good facewash until my face became too acustomed to it. I was told that it’s very important to moisturise because the artificial layer of moisture will prevent your face from producing sebum (sticky oil) to lubricate the face. I was supplied drugs from my doctor to treat my pimples which i think they really helped….until i stopped using em. How depressing.

It’s this community thing online where people share their regimens and stuff that works for them – don’t buy into the benzoyl peroxide on the first page right away, do some browsing – there’s some really good info on there – like how dairy causes acne – and for some even citrus fruits. Cutting those out may give really good results! Just don’t do EVERYTHING they say, there are plenty of medical journals online which you can use to see if something will really work or if it is the placebo effect, whatever.
Those websites really DO look sketchy =P I’m glad I found these reviews as well! =)

Hello everyone, it’s amazing how one person can have affect on buying a product. Don”t knock it before you try it. I have mild acne but my main concern is oily skin. I have been on accutane 3 times which helped but did not clear the oily skin. Now I am recently on Vilantae been taking it for about 7 months the only bad thing about this product you have too take 20 pills a day. i”m tired of taking that much so I decided to buy Acneticin which is probaly in the same family. Here is the website if you want to research it
www . vilantae . com
People react too different things. It’s just trial and error. Has anyone had success with Acneticin?

Hey, me again.
i’ve used zyporex now for a couple weeks
and honestly, it’s really not bad.
i don’t only use it though, i use other stuff
but to be honest
it seems to work well
i’ve gotten used to the smell
and it’s not bad really… just…. strong.
anyway. =]
i hope i helped.
as for one of those guys up there who says that zyporex should be used for ppl with severe cases of acne..
that can’t possibly be true….
infact i would high suggest against it
for some people acne is caused by the dirt and oil buildup and a scrub would work nicely to rid alot of the dirt in pores
but for those with a severe acne problem, a scrub would only irritate his or her acne worse.
zyporex works to clean the dirt from your face
but i honestly doubt it actually works to HELP acne.
i would suggest that if you would like a nice overpriced scrub, get this product because it doesnt dry out ur skin, which is good for me because i have dry skin
however, if you don’t struggle with dry skin and acne,
then just get some clean n’clear facial scrub.
its like 8 dollars, and if you’re just looking for a good scrub, this will do. =]
okay. so =D

i dont understand why there are so many ppl on here that hate zyporex so much .. i did get it and use it.. for about two weeks and it did seem to clear me up.. and i really like the smell of it .. smells like tea tree oil (which i like) .. i wouldnt say it will completely cure your acne but it deff wont hurt you .. just use it gently DONT scrub hard.. i think it will work for somebody with mild acne .. made my skin very soft and smooth.. and didnt dry it out..
but at the same time.. i do still have acne now.. so overall i dont think it works that great but i bet it would for mild acne.. i ordered healthy pores the other day and i am really hoping it works.. final word.. zyporex is not going to kill you and make you worse. but maybe not better either.

I just ordered Zyporex and Acneticin in a fit of desperation when a mentally disabled man publicly pointed out my acne for an entire bus ride in front of a crowded city bus. He meant no harm, but I was completely scarred from the experience.
Zyporex seems okay, I’ve only used it a few days. the order came right away, and for those of you scraping for your “receipt” it’s the email you received when you ordered it. My concern is if anyone knows if there could possibly be any drug interactions the the Acneticin? I’ve checked online and called my pharmacist, but she was unfamiliar with the product and advised against it (she’s not a promoter of random herbal supplements bought online). I just really wanted to try it as a supplement. It seems like it can’t hurt. I’m taking Doryx and Spironolactone. Thanks!

Marlo says:
one more thing: my aesthetician told me that sulfur is used to “draw out” toxins in the skin, so that could be what might be making people break out worse. Perhaps the skin is just purging itself after being suppressed by other acne treatments? maybe if you stick with it, it will get better? Has anyone used this product for more than a few weeks?

I ordered Zyporex back in January, and did a lot of net searches beforehand about it, but never found this site, only positive reports…! So I ordered it, just to see. Still haven’t received it, even after sending an email and their reply was that they would re-send it – that was over a month ago. Seriously dodgy. I have just written to them to demand a cancellation and refund, after reading all these comments! Fingers crossed.
My Naturopath has me taking zinc now, he’s confident it will make a big difference. Apparently zinc deficiency can cause acne. I’m 29 and have tried just about everything. Will let you all know how it goes.

I can’t tell you how glad I am I came across this review. About two weeks ago I was at the end of my tether, you know, one of those days when you’re like “this is ****ing ridiculous, I am 25, I am so sick of having bad skin… etc etc” and I was ready to order just about anything in desperation. I’d been using Proactiv for about 2 months on what varies between mild and moderate acne and had seen no change whatsoever – no negative effects mind, they were lovely products to use, just unfortunately didn’t seem to make a difference – and this was so depressing. I was literally just about to place an order when I decided to just see if I could find a few more independent reviews and thank goodness I did… what I did instead was order a bar of Himalayan crystal salt as recommended on this site (only ÂŁ3.95 plus p&p – can’t argue with that!). I’ve been using this for around a week now and already the results are incredible. I don’t want to speak too soon because I know sometimes there can be an improvement followed by a relapse with these things but it’s looking good so far (visibly clearer, smoother skin and it also feels much softer) and I’ll post again in a couple of weeks to see whether the good results continue (fingers crossed). So firstly I guess thanks for the warning re. Zyporex and secondly thanks for tipping me off on Himalayan salt.
PS – Proactiv products here in the UK do not contain benzoyl peroxide. For ages I was confused as to why everyone was going on about it until I realised most of these forums are American. Personally, I am happy not to put such a harsh chemical on my skin but I am interested to know why the difference. My guess is you can only get it on prescription here but if so I never knew that before.

I’m also taking Doryx at the moment and it does help make my acne go away. It’s not a fantastic drug, but it does help. There was a time when i stopped taking it for a week and i had a lot of breakouts. So if your on this pill, u’ll have to keep taking it.
A couple of my friends said that it’s important to moisturise as it will reduce the need for your skin to produce oil to lubricate your skin. I just began doin that so we’ll see how it goes.

I bought the clinique anti-blemish 3step product yesterday haven’t used it yet and was doing research online to see the best product to get rid of acne, and came across Zyporex and was about to order but thought i’ll read the reviews before ordering. Thank God I didn’t.
I still haven’t opened the clinique products as I can get a full refund, they said even if I used it i will get refund. Just want to know has anyone used this product and is it any good?
Thanks

I’m glad I saw this website before I bought Zyporex or Acneticin. I’m not sure what to believe now. For now I’ve decided not to buy the stuff. I’m 37 now and started suffering from severe acne at 20. I’ve tried everything from Retin A, aloe vera plants, a few antibiotics to include; tetracycline, minocin, and other medicines. I’ve also tried just about every over the counter product there is like Oxy, Salicylic acid, and so forth. There are two things that worked for me.
The first was Accutane. I took this in 1991. It is a very powerful drug. I had to get blood tests once a month to make sure it wasn’t damaging my liver and putting calcium deposits on my spine. I had to sign a waiver too. At first, it totally made my face worse. It was very very bad. Very painful pimples. They were huge! I know there is another name for it, I think it’s called pustules, but I’m not sure. Anyhow, it started to work after about 2 months. And after 5 months of being on the medication, it actually removed all my pimples. My face was totally cleared for 5 years, almost 6 years. Not even a small blemish, no pimples or black heads at all. Nada! I enjoyed almost 6 years of “movie star” type of skin. Then the pimple monsters returned. I didn’t want to take Acccutane again, because you can only take it twice in your life time, and it was too risky the first time.
The other product was Proactiv. I used it for about 8 years. It actually worked…for awhile. My face was totally cleared. Then I would get big pimples here and there. I figured out the trick. I had to cycle off and on it every 6 months or so. But I’ve realized that my body has become depended on it. Now, I’m trying to force my body to stop depending on it.
Any how, I hope my story helps some of you. I can’t believe I’m almost freaking 40 and still have this crap going on. Anyhow, God Bless and good luck to all.

Hi Shaz, I used the Clinique line a number of years ago and from what I can recall my skin did not improve at all, which is probably why I don’t use it anymore! But this was probably 5 years ago, so I don’t know if the line is still the same.
I just started using a line called Environ about a month ago and it has worked extremely well for me.

Hi everyone! Just wanted to say thank you for the honest reviews. I’m in the same boat as all of you as I have suffered from severe cystic acne since I was in highschool (I’m now 26) and I am always looking for that miracle product. At this point I have found several products in a “system” that work.. its a custom cocktail of Dr. Perricone, supplements, diet, glycolic peels, and prescriptions. Sounds like a lot but after how many years of acne no investment is too much to be “finally” rid of acne. I started this new protocol around the end of february this year. I’ve had some minor set backs that i know caused me to break out (got really sick and had to go to the hospital for a week, didn’t read the ingredients on a new make up package that had mineral oil- yuck!), but all in all my skin has remained clear with just one or two breakouts a week which heal rather quickly (its the scarring that takes forever). So here’s what I’m using (mind you I have REALLY OILY SKIN): I bought the clarisonic facial brush (its NOT a dermabrasion brush. if you have questions ask me) and use the perricone nutritive cleanser with it morning and night. At night I also follow with the dermadoctor wrinkle revenge cleanser 1 (13% glycolic acid) using my fingertips only.. let it sit for a couple minutes like a mini peel. Morning and night I follow cleansing with OTC hydrogen peroxide (like what you use on a cut) and the perricone facial firming toner (it has glycolic acid and anti oxidants). In the morning I use a Vitamin C serum (C3 from DDF) followed with the perricone tinted moisturizer in the summer…in the winter I use the caudalie vinoperfect moisturizer because I tend to wear heavier foundation. At night I just came across a brand new product called Meg21 (it just finished clinical testing in 2007 I believe) which has been phenomenal. It does have lanolin which is likely to clog pores but I haven’t even noticed blackheads using it. it’s an anti inflammatory anti-glycation cream that is new to the market. I’m also starting daily prescription treatments of azaleic acid (an AHA in a prescription of 20% which is VERY anti inflammatory, helps with rosacea and acne) commonly called Azalex or Finacea…it takes 4 weeks to see results so TBA on that and I’m contemplating trying tazorac (a trentinoid) again (I was on it for about 6 weeks when i got pregnant and it takes 9 months to see results on average). I’m a licensed cosmetologist which gives me the benefit to purchase salon/spa grade items at whole sale so I do my own 55% glycolic with Kojic acid peels once a week for exfoliation and scar lightening. Its aggressive but sometimes that’s what you need. I should also say that I DO have sensitive skin but my skin has not been very red or irritated (except from the night I do my peels). I take supplements of spirulina, chlorella, along with a whole host of anti oxidants and omegas..dmae, alpha lipoic acid.. the best suggestion i can make is READ THE PERRICONE BOOKS… and I avoid complex carbs and excess sugar (although I love ice cream). I really hope this helps some of you with your concerns.. please if you have any questions ask me…

Hello All, Here’s another sucker in regards to the Zyporex! I am returning the product today and will let you all know if I receive a refund.
As for what works for me, the only thing that even comes close is the Clean and Clear Acne Kit. I tried Proactive and that dried and cracked my skin, Clinique worked with the acne, but made my skin oily and shiny. As mentioned before, everything works differently on everyone, so I guess it is try, try and try again. I also started using EveryDay Minerals (which is probably very similar to the others mentioned on these posts) and it doesn’t make my skin flaky or oily.
Have also noticed that the more sugar I eat, the more I break out (seem to be lucky enough to get the cystic acne, argh!). Looked into this and have been taking Neem (an herb) which helps regulate blood sugar. It works great for me, need to take it every day, since I finally figured out what caused my acne (again, we are all different).
Good Luck to you all!

I got a couple of the products from this site… I got the Asso gold bar today… just tried it, so couldnt tell you yet about how it works….I got Zyporex on ebay Australia, from a private seller who no longer required the Zyporex because it cleared his skin completely! I have cystic and comodonal acne – a long battle in which ive tried everything!
Ive tried the Zyporex for about two weeks now – I agree its pretty harsh smelling and feeling! On the first two days, I had some pimples come to the surface in unusual places, but they cleared quite quickly – they seem to have been sitting below the surface, and the scrub released them… Since then, no new zits – it doesnt seem all that bad to me – but it is no number 1 treatment!! It definitely does nothing to reduce my comodones (whiteheads trapped under the skin).
I think this scrub is ok – i wouldnt recommend using it twice daily like the instructions say – daily exfoliation isnt always the best thing, and can make you look ‘glassy’, oily, or just create irritation. I would say that it is something to be used once or twice a week maybe?
Will see what the asso gold bar is like, but personally cant see how it will be a miracle product…!

IT’S NOT ALL BAD
I ordered Zyporex and Acneticin two weeks ago, and I must say, I’m remarkably surprised. First off, the Zyporex felt heavy at first. I’m used to the Murad wash and toner which strips your face of all oil. Zyporex seemed to elimnate the need for moisturizer, so I put less on after washing my face. It didn’t immediately cure my skin, nor did it prevent breakouts, but it did remarkable things for my redness and inflamation, which has in turn helped the breakouts. Also I feel like my skin doesn’t get as oily throughout the day as I typically notice. I also use Zyporex on my back and chest. it’s also seemed to help. no major breakouts since the purchase. For me, it’s a very mild and moisturizing product. Yes it stinks, but it just smells like botanicals that aren’t covered up by skin-irritating perfumes and dyes.
As for the Acneticin. Since I started taking 3 pills 2x a day I haven’t had any MAJOR breakouts. I sound like an infomercial. I reserached all the ingredients, and there really is no other product that offers these ingredients. I’ve taken some of these supplements separately but to no avail, nor was I that good about taking them regularily. I skipped a day of Acneticin last week, and got a breakout within 24 hours of a few cystic pimples and some small bumps on my cheeks and forehead. I went back on it, and a few days later everything was calm. I’ve suffered from acne for 15 years. I’ve been to herbalists, 3 nationally recognized derms, accutane 2x., lasers, peels, lights, creams, pills, you name it. Naturopaths, Dieticians, irridologists and reflexologists. I’ve tried it all. I’m 26 years old, I eat well, sleep well, get some exercise, and manage my stress better than I used to, and nothing has helped me. Someone once told me that Cystic adult acne could be caused by gallstones. whatever it is, no medication traditional or non-traditional has helped me. But Acneticin, and zyporex seems to be calming my skin. Also, I no longer use any expensive prescriptions. I use straight Tea Tree oil on my problem areas at night. It’s very soothing, and I find it heals open sores very well. (I used to use neosporin but that stops working after a while)
For what it’s worth, these products were cheaper than my murad products, visits to the derm, prescription meds, or an acne facial. I was desperate and figured, what have I got to lose? I don’t trust the distributer or the testimonies on the website, I think they’re proprietary, deceitful, and disorganized, but here’s my 2 cents about the product, and I recommend it’s worth a try. Good luck everyone.

PS Perricone books are great. If anything else, a really great diet plan. and easy recipes for anti-inflammatory foods. I also recommend this. It did nothing for my skin, but I felt great and lost 5 pounds. carbs and sugar breed acne and fatigue. a dietitian or a naturopath can help you taylor make your own anti-inflammatory detox diets that are right for you and your body. I think this is a vital step in combatting acne. It didn’t help my acne directly, but it made me healthier so that I could get one step closer to my skin’s health. there is no single cure-all or magic pill. It has to be a combination of life activities….

I knew something was up when the QandA for several different products were exactly the same. I’m looking for something for my daughters who are both starting to have breakouts. My husband and I have both suffered from acne for most of our lives too and unfortunately, they have inherited our oily complexions. I’m grateful to have read these posts, and won’t be ordering Zyporex or Acneticin. I’ve recently stopped taking the antibiotic Minocin (which I have to caution, turned my teeth slightly greyish, even though it says it won’t), and Diane-35, a medication that is meant for acne control, but is also a contraceptive pill (I would take it without stopping for 3 months at a time). They worked really, really well. It was very freeing to not have to worry about what I was wearing, no matter how skimpy. Since stopping, which my doctor recommended after about 3 years of being on them because he felt I should be “cured”, I can see that it’s really about the hormone cycle for me. But since it’s not advisable to stay on the pill (or antibiotics, for that matter) for too long (and I’m 38), now I’m suffering just like I did before, and trying to manage things with Differin gel.
As for my daughters, they have been using Mary Kay’s Velocity cleanser, but it really doesn’t seem to be cutting it. I wonder if diet might be the culprit for them, as some have suggested here. As most of you can relate, I am pretty desperate for my girls to not go through what I have. The search continues…

I’m so mad. My birthday is coming up in two weeks and even though the acne on my face isn’t bad (except during that time of month), the acne on my body (embarrassingly lower portion) is. I ordered zyproex (without reading many reviews) THREE weeks ago, and it still hasn’t come in. After reading this website I immediately canceled my order. Zyporex better refund my money within the week. Can anyone tell me how long their refund took? Also, I’m about to buy ClearPores, but I wanted to do my homework this time, so can anyone tell me if it works. Unlike Zyporex though, ClearPores has a better looking, seemingly more reliable testimonial sections and a WAY better contact system. Unfortunately,I doubt if buying an acne treatment right now will help me within two weeks, and most acne treatments make your acne worst first, so if anyone can comment or help me, please reply back fast. I’m really worried about my party since it’s my first big birthday blowout ever and I want to look my best. Haha. Stressing out probably isn’t helping much.

Hi Tuyen,
If you need clearer skin within 2 weeks then skin treatment will do the job that quickly. All I can recommend that might to the job in time is taking Vitamin A supplements (10,000IU per day should do it) and making 80-90% of your diet raw vegetables until your birthday and cut out any form junk food altogether. This may or may not work but if you try the 3-day raw vegetable fast it should give you an indication of how effective the change in diet will be. If you don’t see ANY change at all after the 3 days then the diet will probably not help much, but you should give it a try to find out because in most cases it helps a lot.
There is an article on this site regarding the 3-day cleanse and what you need to do -
http://www.myacnereview.com/2007/02/05/the-first-step-to-curing-acne/
As I mentioned, no skin treatment will do the job in 2 weeks so I think you will need to take the supplements and try the diet to stop the acne from the inside. I am fairly certain you will see a definitive improvement by the time your birthday arrives. At the very least, you shouldn’t get any new breakouts after you make the switch.

I am 31 years of age, and I have tried the Zyporex with much success. I hate to see people turned off by negative comments without trying this product for themselves. Everyone is different. I had terrible cystic pimples, black and white heads. After the first few days I saw a difference in my skin tone and texure. After about two weeks my acne was gone. GOOONNNNNEEEEE. Before I actually looked like a hideous monster and did’nt want to go out in public with all of the nasty stares. If your on this site and have serious acne I know you can relate to this. Anyways, this product did work for me. Please try it before you listen to someone elses experience. REMEMBER PEOPLE, EVERYONES SKIN IS DIFFERENT!

Hi,
I have previously had allergic reaction to such products as Neutorgena it was so bad that i had to have allergy tablets and the doctor said to be careful as you can get dermatitis that will never go away. I saw this product and thought i would check in to it. It makes me upset the amount of people/companies that play on acne sufferers.
I always test products on my back now if i try something new for a week to ensure no severe reaction !
I have very oily acne prone skin and tried proactive and found it did not work for me as claimed however my bro did have some success with this.
I found my success from Dermalogica products. (can purchase on such sites as strawberrynet.com)
I use Anti-bac skinwash followed by multi active toner and then active moist.
The mico exfoliant is also good. Its not the cheapest but i keep coming back to it.
If i stop using it especially the active moist i break out and regret it.
Although recently i found my new fav product.
Ginerva Green Tea Marvel gel Emollient to be extremley effective used once daily it refreshes my complextion. Its made in Osaka Japan and is $39.95 for a tube here which lasts me a while.(while i do not like their face wash or moisturer )
Thanks for the smokeymountain minerals tip i mite look into that.
Im currently using Physicians formula mineral liquid foundation and powder which is working ok but thought I might look at some other options.
I have decided against trying sheer cover as alot of people commented on another review about a reaction.
Thank you for your comments and I hope I may of helped one of you with my above Acne product experience I am aged 27 from Australia . :)

Hey all,
I haven’t read all of the reviews, just kind of scanned over them. I ordered Acneticin last week, so hopefully, after reading some of your reviews, I will recieve it. I liked the ingredients in the product that’s why I ordered it. I am taking some of the ingredients separately (Vitamin C, garlic, B-complex, Vitamin A, vitamin E) anyways, so I figured getting all of those plus other things, that I have researched and seem to be good for acne, into one pill might be easier. I have tried proactiv, it made my acne worse. Benzoyl peroxide, salyclic acid, etc. nothing really helps. I started using Erythromycin Fall ‘06 and was acne free till about just 3 months ago, it really helped me for that long of a time. I figured that because it is an antibiotic your skin can grow kind of immune to it, so I think that’s what happened, so I stopped using it. Anyways, now my skin is really breaking out bad. I thought I would try Acneticin. If it doesn’t work, I guess I will go back on ery 2% pads, and hopefully my skin has had a long enough break from it that it will start working again :(. Anyways, when the Acneticin comes (and hopefully it does) I will let you know if it helps.

Aww man! I knew i should have done some research :(
They better give my money back! The best thing for acne, i’ve learnt, is that don’t touch the pimples, no make up you need to let your skin breath, drink heaps of water and stick to one treatment for a while (it doesn’t work over night, but may even take months).
I hope that helps…and as for this scam, karma will hit them!!

I tried using Zyporex about three weeks ago and have not seen any changes to my acne yet. Does it just take time for it to work?
As for shipping, it took a month for me to recieve it. Perhaps its just because I’m in Canada.

Vicki says:
Do NOT buy Zyporex, for many reasons.
It is a scrub which has made my skin worse than ever, with every pimple I ever had coming back with a venegence.
Also, let me say ‘buyer beware’. This company has no 1-800 number to call them, only email to contact them. When I told them I was sending it back for a refund, they said my Transaction ID was/is invalid — which is ridiculous because I sent them a copy of the receipt they sent me! Now they haven’t replied to any emails for the whole week.
There is no paperwork in the package with directions, or any other receipt.
I will contact the California BBB if necessary, and am making this post so people are made aware of the terribe customer service and no-one buys this product that doesn’t work. Buy something else.

Kay says:
The thing with using antibiotics is that the acne causing bacteria do tend to get immune to it. However, certain studies show that using a combination of antibiotics/other drugs can however minimize the development of this immunity.
With using antibiotics, one should also follow a strict cleansing routine. This is because the drugs target the bacteria and you must still ensure you remove excess oils and dead skin cells to prevent futher blockage of the pores.
goodluck!

I have been battling acne for about 7 years now. I have tried so many things. First it started with off the shelf products like Cerasil, Neurtogena, Noxzema, Clean& Clear Proactiv, Murad. When it became obvious that none of these were working I went to see a dermatologist. Then started a whole new set of prescribed meds and some worked for a while only to have my problems return and I was back to square one. I stayed up late at nights researching acne treatments and trying all this natural stuff. I decided that natural was the way to go and then I came across Zyporex and it had all the great acne fighting ingredients in it so I had to give it a try. However, I have been using it for about 3 weeks now and I don’t see much of an improvement. In fact I got a couple of pimples while using it. It does feel great on my skin though but how effective it is..I would say not very. It’s also very overpriced. I would not recommend this product for people who are looking for a way to treat their acne. It will not help very much.

This product is SUCH A SCAM! I am in the process of trying to cancel the order that I rashly (and while slightly intoxicated) placed. I had a bad feeling looking at their account, but fell for it in the end. Unfortunately, scams like this target people who are looking for a medical solution, and are usually desperate, so these people must be making a FORTUNE. I’m slightly scared about the safety of my personal information now due to this scam and have contacted my bank about it.
I received a “confirmation e-mail” from a HOTMAIL account, which is scam sign number one. I shop online a LOT, and have never received such an obviously illegitimate e-mail before. They provide you NO legitimate e-mail address with which to contact them, no address and no phone number. This is not a legitimate company and someone needs to do more research into this scam before more people lose their money.
I have learned my lesson and will never purchase a product online again without first verifying that it is a legitimate company.

Just an update: I got an e-mail back from the “company” saying that they couldn’t reverse my order as they had already shipped it. They said I would have to refuse the order and wait for a refund. That is obviously a COMPLETE lie for the following reasons:
1) I placed the order last night and I have never known a company to ship a product in less than 3 days, especially since I live in Canada and am considered an international order.
2) I called my credit card company to reverse the charges and they said the authorization hasn’t even gone through yet, and I highly doubt that they would ship the order without even being paid!
According to the credit card company, I will now either have to dispute the charge when it appears or refuse the shipment and send it back to the company.
In further information, I looked Zyporex up on the Better Business Bureau website in Canada, and they have given the company an F rating due to the fact that it has failed to respond to company complaints.
Source:
http://www.labbb.org/BBBWeb/Forms/Business/CompanyReportPage_Expository.aspx?CompanyID=100063680
On the plus side, the BBB web site has an address listed for the company, so I suggest everyone starts mailing in complaints.

Well, I bought it ..hook line and sinker…I have struggled with acne for years, Im in my early thirties and while I dont have bad acne I do get cystic acne. I received my zyporex in a few days, was kind of weird, no seal, no receipt, but Im a sucker for anything. I have been using it for 2 months now and holy crap what a difference! Seriously, I dont care what is in this, it works! Not that I havent had a zit since, but when I do, it is tiny and gone in no more than 2 days. The smell, is the tea tree oil, to those of you that are not familiar with it, that is what your smelling! And even if it was /is baby poop, Im reordering! I have spent thousands, trying everything from proactiv to Murad, antibiotics, everything, this is really pretty cheap considering the size of the bottle, it really does last, and honestly it does work! Dont believe everything you read, I was really skeptical too, Was certain that this would also fail, but wow, Im going to reorder now so I dont run out! Everything I have tried has worked great at first, then after a month its back to normal, I really thought this was going to be the same, my skin gets better every day. I love how clean and smooth it makes my skin. I honestly could not be happier!

Haha… the internet is such a mindgame. I wouldn’t be surprised if half the people on this website work for someone in the acne business. FYI it is a common “scheme” for people with online health businesses (I used to work for one back in 2007) to post on forums to raise awareness for their own product. I don’t know if they also bash other people’s products, the company I worked for didn’t go that far but they did do some forum stuff. I never felt like it was honest and didn’t participate thankfully I wasn’t forced to. Anyhow, i did order some of the Zyporex stuff, I’m trying to decide whether or not to try it or send it back. I have used the Oxycerin (also by these people )before and it worked great for me so I initially didn’t have any qualms about buying even tho yes I suspected it was all by the same company, another common trick. There are so many negative reviews though… sheesh… a lot of them seem to be by extremely articulate 14 year olds … odd, I have never known so many young people to post so well on health forums. Maybe I live in the wrong part of the country. Anyway, I do not work for anyone in the health business anymore and want to offer some advice:
Try stuff you don’t have to buy first and see if it helps. A lot of people put stuff like honey, baking soda, or avocado on their acne and see great results. Just leave it on like a face mask for 15 min or a little longer to see some results over time. Also, eat right. Someone said this before but your skin is your body’s biggest organ and it needs to be nourished. Less processed sugar, people.

thanks for all the feed back I received from you guys. I know acne treatments (like diet pills) its a hit and miss. Results vary with everybody. I was about to buy this product for my sons who had acne (one of them has severe case). I do not have acne now but have blackhead/white head which I want to try this product for myself too. Can anybody give me a good advise on what toi use for their acne as I exhaust everything from trying neutrogena, clearskin, and other products that for acne in the drug store. They have been using a prescription acne gel (stevamycin, or something like this…can’t remember the name) but as soon as they stop using the gel the break out comes back. that is why I was ready to try Zyporex and almost order it today until I searched some more products that really, really work and found this blog. Now I am skeptical to even give it a try for the fact that I read stories of how their products doesn’t every arrive. Can anybody suggest a good acne treatment?

Hi,
I am not involved in any scheme nor with any company besides my day job which is Real Estate. I did purchase the product Zyporex, I ordered it on a thurs and got it on sat, same wk. It said it would take 2-3 days and it did. I have been using it about 4 days now and so far I do like it. I can tell my skin is improving but I refuse to say it is working as far as keeping new pimples from forming, I believe it is way to soon to tell. I have some what severe acne, it usually forms in specific areas but can get the odd pimple on my cheek or nose. Mine tend to last quite a long time and i usually end up picking at them which then causes scarring. I hardly ever get much time with clear skin. Im not going to say Zyporex is not a small scam because really every company who claims to get rid of all your acne is a scam! I do believe as they state that it depends on the person and their acne. I do like the product so far. I will try to find this site again to give an update in a month. I do hope it works even half as good as they claim it does, so far its looking promising.

Dr.Julian Billimora says:
Hello everyone. I left this post on the proactive topic but im sure much of the same information can apply to the problem that is evident here.
If you were to substitute the word Proactive for Zyporex im sure it would make no difference.
Have a read.
Take care.
Proactive has a very dark side to it.
As long as you can afford to fork out $60+ every month or so, then by all means give this product a try.
However a warning; the second you cease treatment with this product the your previous acne will indisputably hit back with a vengeance. I have seen it happen all too many times where someones acne has cleared to a certain extent under the influence of proactive, yet the minute they miss a treatment the acne comes back and the breakouts are almost double as bad as what they were before the treatment commenced.
So again if you are willing to pay for proactive for about 5-10 years depending on your age; which at $60 every month for 5 years would cost around $3600, then yes give it a try.
But my personal advice working as a dermatologist for 3 years would be Roaccutane.
This is an orally induced form of medication and works at eliminating your acne for good.
I have prescribed this more than 15 times in the course of 3 years and every time it has worked wonders.
I MUST WARN YOU HOWEVER;
Roaccutane is a very effective product when used PROPERLY. The course must be followed adequately or its effects will be diminutive.
Also, there is a price for clear skin when taking this product. It works by drying out your skin; in this time you will find your lips dry up and peel, your skin will grow flakey; and in some cases people suffer from depression and anxiety. Yet the severity of these side effects are reliant on the individual of course.
Before considering this product it is wise to check your cholesterol levels and ask a doctor whether or not you are physically fit enough to handle such a treatment.
The benefit of Roaccutane is that once your treatment is over, if the acne has successfully cleared, it will never come back!
Of course there may be an exception to the rule if you cease to maintain your face and allow dirt to clog your pores etc. Whilst on roaccutane it is useful to use a mild face wash or oil free moisturizer in order to maintain a reasonable complexion.
Cosmetic products may work to a certain extent in removing your acne but let me stress that they only work on a TEMPORARY basis, and require lump sums of money in order to maintain a mediocre face, which for many people is simply not feasible.
Like I said roaccutane will only be prescribed in SEVERE cases and yes if you are only suffering from mild acne then talking daily steps such as facial cleansing and maintaining a healthy diet with LOTS of water can certainly help lessen the acne on your face.
If you have any questions I will be happy to answer them, just remember that not alot of Dermo’s will give away this information for free so use it while you can.
Cheers.

I’ve bought this product and have been using it for a week now. It has an herbal smell, a bit minty-ish, too, but it’s not bad. Just make sure you don’t breath in too much of it. xD
I do agree that this is an exfoliating scrub, so it just remove with dead skin cells, dirt, etc. I’ve applied the Avon night cream treatment, used to fade age/dark spots, and I think it’s working. =/ But I’m not entirely sure because I have too much hope and is tricking myself into seeing things. I’ll have to take an after picture to compare it to my before photo by week’s end. ^_^’ So, I’m returning Zyporex since the only thing seem to be working on my scar/dark spots is the Avon product, not Zyporex. Plus, I have tons of exfoliating scrubs at home already and I do not think $30+ for Zyporex is worth it.
Below is the email I’ve just sent them to demand a refund (I’ll update you on their reply, when/if I receive it xD):
“To whom it may concern,
Hello, I’ve purchased Zyporex and would like to return it for a refund. Do I need an RMA number or anything to return it back to you?

I decided to buy Zyporex because I know that Sulfur is an antibacterial agent, and with the over use of penicillin the natural bacteria that lives on skin can develop a resistance, MRSA an antibiotic resistant staph for example! I thought about using a rx strength sulfacetamide sodium wash but decided I would try an over the counter wash that contained sulfur first! I also like the tea tree oil because I know that it has an anti-inflamatory effect. A lot of modern medicines are derived from plants, Digitalis and Atropine, both of which are powerful cardiac medications. Granted I have very mild acne, cyctic and other forms need and should be treated by a dermatologist. I have only been using this product for a short time and am happy so far with the results. People that have Sulfa allergies should stay away from this product because it does contain sulfur!

Has anyone besides me ever been told that when you start a cleansing program, sometimes your skin problems will get worse for a week or so due to the fact that it is causing the bad stuff to come out of the pores. I have been told this several times and I have even read this on different products. I have been using zyporex for several days and it seems to be working great for me. My skin feels smoother and my pores don’t seem as large. I don’t even mind the smell. To me it smells like a medicine. I have used stuff that smelled much worse. Sometimes I think a product works well for one person and not so well for someone else. If it is bad for YOU, maybe you are having a reaction to a specific ingredient. I also use vitamin E (that comes in a stick form from WalMart, in the vitamin isle). This seems to also help. Just a suggestion as I am not a doctor. For me I am pleased with zyporex! Good luck to all.

Grrrr….after patiently waiting for Zyporex and finally it has arrived and then I read all this? Why do I buy most things in haste?!
I was using Proactive for about 2 years, worked like wonders, then stopped and started using Clarins, I started breaking out and Clarins is not your cheap stuff either!! So I re-ordered pro-activ again in the UK, but it has not worked. It is because I think they have changed their formula which they have eliminated Benzoyl Peroxide in it which is the active ingredient against acne.
I will try and use this gooey Zyporex despite of what was said, it could only make my face worse, or perhaps better. One night only after Benzac AC arrives. Hopefully it won’t get any worse forme! Will keep you guys posted as well!
I won’t bother with the refund — they can keep my ÂŁ25 and hope that would help them sleep at night.

Ok so i have never used this product but if it contains a Retinol the “adverse side effects” you mentioned can be way more than iritated skin and even rashing. Accutane’s main active ingredient is a Retinol and women cant even take it without getting a monthly blood test to check for pregancy and being on two i repeat two different types of birth control. Why? because one of those adverse side effects is birth defects. now there may not be near a high enough concentration in this for any side effects of this sort to happen but there is a reason the food and drug administration has suck crazy stupid rules for doctors perscribing and pacients taking any type of retinol (accutane esspecailly) and people should know even if it is a tiny amount.

Well i’m only 13 and turing 14 quite soon. I’m a typical teenager really but acne stops me enjoying EVERYTHING as i am so self-contious and think everyones always talking about me. I CAN’T go out without concealor, liquid & dream matte mousse and i know that sounds over the top but its the only way i can feel the least bit confident about myself.
Here is a couple of normal things that i can’t do:
Swimming at school.
Overseas holidays with school or family.
Sunbathe.
Take my make-up of infront of ANYONE apart from my dad.
Can’t go out without covering my face in an inch of make-up.
I need a treatment that works fast and is effective.
I must have tried EVERY treatment under the sun and I need one I can really count on. I’m planning to go on ÂŁ600 – $1200 with my school soon and i want to be able to go swimming and have fun with friends without the fear of people looking at my huge, ugly, acne stricken face.
Apart from having physical scars I have horrible mental scars. I also think you can’t understand how someone with acne feels unless you’ve had/have acne yourself.
Sorry to here about this horrid scam, I was actually considering buying it myself so thanks for stopping me.
So any ideas what cream or pills will work ?

…wearing all that makeup won’t help your skin… it will make it much worse.

Hey i just used proactive and i got massive breakouts, like HUGE. They said they’ve never had that reaction, but i have moderate acne. Would Zyporex work, i work in a takeaway shop and in senior high and the pimples just keep on coming. HOw do i get rid of them, will the Zyporex Work if the proactive, clearasil, clinique and garnier products didnt? I have dry skin and oily skin due to teh grease in the takeaway store, HELP ME!

George Cleanthous says:
Hi Sam,
If Proactiv didn’t work then it’s not likely Zyporex will either. You mentioned you worked in a takeaway shop, do you eat food from there every day? If so, stop. Or at least try to have less fried foods.
If not, the issue may be the environment and I would suggest that you should wash/clean your face regularly while at work.

if you’ve ordered it, you may aswell try it.

I’ve had problems with acne but i dont really “break out”. Ill get 2-5 pimples at a time but then i get these HUGE underground zits that i try so hard not to pop but i always end up poking at them anyways. I have combination skin, (dry skin on my nose and oily skin on my chin and forehead), and all the products ive tried either make my nose even more dry and it peels while healing some of my acne, then i use more mild products to prevent dryness, but those dont help get rid of the pimples.
My friend got proactiv for her birthday and HATES it so i dont know about that route. Then I read about Zyporex and about bought it but im not sure now…
Any thoughts or suggestions?

hey fellow sufferers!!
Thank you so much for all of your honest posts about this product. I’ve been suffering from moderate to severe acne since i was 12 years old (I’m 27) and have tried everything but the dermatologist. I guess I have to finally admit there is no miracle cure and that each person has different reactions. Does anyone recommend any treatments through a dermatologist? I’ve been using Proactiv for awhile now but I just dont have the time to do the regimne twice a day like it tells you to. Thanks again for all the comments, It really saved me some irratation!

Hey everyone!
I just saw your website and got curious and surprised over your reactions. I am 21 and have had acne for 9years, I’ve tried everything, even Accutane 3 times. It was great but it just came back after 5 or 6 months without treatment. I tried every cream, treatment by doctors or in drugstore. My skin would be too dry, irritated or it wouldn’t work. The last thing that was quite goog was Acne Solutions by Clinique but I still had breakouts. Now before these 3 step products I use Zyporex twice, daily and it does work. My skin is unified, smoother and more radiant, the scars look almost gone, it’s great! I feel like products against acne are like diet pills, some might work for you, some definitely do and some will never do you good. For me Zyporex is really good and I’ve been only using it for 5 days! I had no problem ordering on their website(not ebay store) and received it in 5days!
So it really depends on people’s skins..!

Hi, I recieved my first bottle of Zyporex last week , I have been using it and I can’t believe how fast I saw results.
I even used it on my back . This product is really effective and I am happy with it. Any product you buy over the internet has good reviews and bad reviews.
Zyporex can work on 50% of people and the other 50% will not work due to reactions and lifestyle.
IF YOU HAVE BOUGHT THIS PRODUCT Zyporex PLEASE TRY IT DON’T BE AFRAID BECAUSE OF THE BAD REVIEWS.
As I said all products the most expensive have good and bad reviews . You should always try a product regardless. Have a read of the good reviews. I am from Australia and I am so happy that I have bought this product, I am 36 years old and suffered acne for a while and this product has really worked for me as each day passes I see improvement.
GOOD LUCK TO ALL THAT WILL TRY IT NOW AFTER THIS REVIEW. I GIVE THIS PRODUCT 5 STARS

Well i used to use proactiv but it didnt do anything but dry up my skin for the most part…so i switched to EXPOSED…havent seen a whole lotta reviews on it so i figured i might help someone out…i have modereate acne with about 3 new pimples forming a day…i started the exposed acne system and i did notice a improvement…i really like how it DOESNT dry out my skin..sometimes i dont even use a moisturizer at night…although it does work about 30% better then proactiv its not the whole solution needed…thats if ur a moderate to severe acne sufferer…i used the st. ives for all skin types exfoliate in combonation with it and the face mask by the same company and it improved even more..i would say it def works better then proactiv and is effective at reducing acne key word being REDUCING…but not the whole solution…so good luck! i would recomend this product

I have been using the product for just about a week and I love the results. | have had this one cystic acne pimple right above the bridge of my nose for about 2 months, although not noticeable unless pointed out, it hurt and I felt very self conscience. I have been battling mild acne for about 5 years as an adult. I was about to get a dermatologist to get it removed but I decided to try Zyporex. Even though I was skeptical because no other acne products seem help (and I have tried a lot). In 1 week of using Zyporex, it came to a head and is now healing.

Well i used the product for about a week and my acne hasnt been this bad since i was in highschool! now i just want my skin to be back to how it was before shiva-23.
Have any of you used or heard about the benifets of Tree Tea oil?? Or any recommendations on how to make pores less visable?

senorita says:
hi guys — i didn’t take my chances whe I got Zyporex, i just threw away the bottle after using it once…didn’t bother with refund either. I cbf. Anyway, here’s the low down…
I was using Proactiv in Australia for about 2 years and gosh does the product work, but for $120 for about 2.5 months, it can get to you after a while. Then I moved to London last year and ran out of Proactive supply so decided to change to Clarins since my face has cleared. But omg, the acne came back with a vengeance. So got back to Proactiv again….but it didn’t work this time…. Why?? Because the Proactiv formula in the UK (and maybe some other countries) is different from what I’ve used in Australia. The missing key ingredient is Benzoyl Peroxide 2.5% (sounds harsh — but let’s face it, it’s what get’s rid of acne) replaced with Salicylic Acid + Green Tea extract (didn’t do the trick).
So now I’m back in Oz and have not gone back to Proactiv either, since finding out the key ingredient of what gets rid of acne, I started to use Benzac AC face wash (5%) and Benzac AC gel 2.5% ( a whole lot cheaper than proactiv) and it works!! You’ll see results after 2 weeks (and my acne was moderate – bad) I promise. Now you may not be able to get Benzac AC everywhere (I couldn’t from London chemists as they don’t stock it), but try and search/order it online.
Zyporex is just too gooey and yukky to use….but hey if it works for some, then good on you!!
For now – any product with Benzoyl Peroxide should work for you…. may dry out your skin a little bit, but use Cetaphil after to moisturise the dry areas. It’s fine and it works!!

Kari says:
Ok so I received this product and I’m not going to lie, I actually love it!!! Disregard my comment above. The grains in the wash make my skin super smooth and soft, washing away dirt and oil but not doing it harshly. I have very sensitive skin, so the products like proactive and differin are too harsh on my skin and make it dry and open new sores. The ingredients in this acne wash are all natural and it is gentle enough on my skin to where it washes it well but doesnt dry it out or harm it. I have seen incredible results so far and I plan on continuing use of this product. There are going to be bad reviews for every product you buy so please don’t be afraid to try the product you buy because of what you read on this site. It is not a scam and it really does work. You won’t know until YOU try it. Everyone’s skin in different.
I give this product FIVE STARS.

Just like many others I’ve tried dozens of products including proactive and murad, but to no avail. My skin is still oily as ever and I’m breaking out everyday. Zyporex and Exposed were two products that caught my attention, and based on the comments here, zyporex works for some and doesnt for others, which is to be expected. Now my question is: for someone who has moderate-severe acne, which would be the better choice to try first?

Along with using Zyporex on my face I also use PanOxyl 2.5 as it is less harsh, I would strongly recommend using these 2 products to anyone as they work really well together, I hope this helps some people

Leigh says:
I have adult acne that leaves me with very bad scarring. My skin is also very sensitive and gets completely out of balance with oily and extremely dry areas. I have used this product for a while now and have had amazing results. I have tried all of the other major acne products with little or bad results. Zyporex didn’t leave my skin dry or irritated at all and I use it every day. It has Idebenone in it which is a leading aestetic ingredient right now. Products with this ingredient can cost in the hundreds for small quantitiies. One brand that touts the amazing qualities of Idebenone is by True and is used in spas. That is a great line as well but is more costly. I have found that Zyporex has lessened the scarring dramatically and has changed the tone of my skin completely. It has almost completely eliminated my skin of the acne. I still get some occasionally but they are tighter and do not turn into sores and get inflamed and red. I rarely have blackheads on my nose now.
The only negative thing so far that I can say is that when I originally purchased Zyporex I had not read through all of the ingredients. I just knew that my aesetician had suggested using Idebenone products but I could not afford the $120.00 product they offered me. Zyporex seemed a possible alternative. I ordered the product and printed all of the receipts and info from the web site. Then I read the inactive ingeredients and saw that there was lavender in the product and it was one of the first on the list meaning there was quite a bit. Normally I am very allergic to fragrances with lavender and I got concerned that I would have a reaction. I emailed the company and asked that they cancel my order. I never received a reply and I was quite irritated. The product arrived within a week and I deceided to go ahead and try it. I am so glad I did because it changed my skin and it changed my life. I spoke to my doctor and she said it depends on the quality of the lavender used in the prodct meaning natural oils versus the artificial. Like how I’m allergic to fresh pineapple to the point that my toungue swells up till I can’t talk, but I can eat canned pineapple without a reaction.
One thing to remember too is that not everyone’s skin is going to react the same. I see commercials for Pro-Active all the time about how great it is and it reduced my skin to a completely acne covered, dried, red and sore mess. It took me years to get my skin to some normalcy after using it.

This is the worst company ever.I never received my order so I can”t say if it works or not.Guessing it probably does not. The mail man left it outside and some one took it. So when I emailed the company. Some rude and very unprofessional jerk wrote back saying they had proof that it was delivered. To which I replied I’m aware it was delivered, but it was stolen. He said ask the post office and if I still could not locate it to let him know. Which I did and guess what?He still has not responded. So I’m out some money Lesson learned. I’m thinking if this product is so great they would resend it, knowing that I would buy more. So my guess is it’s a scam!

I found an address and telephone # to try and get a refund for the Zyporex. It is listed below
Experimental Nutrition Research LLC
3580 Wilshire Blvd, Suite 1190
Los Angeles, CA 90010

I got this information by going to the Better Business Bureau website and searching Zyporex. Both Zyporex and ENRLLC got an “F” rating by the BBB. My son tried the Zyporex, and I believe his acne got worse. I finally ended up taking him to a doctor. I am trying to get a refund for the product and shipping. Wish me luck. I hope we all pass the bad word along about this company and its products.

Hey guys, I ordered a week ago and it came in (Well, technically, I tried canceling it-but they said they already sent it). I’m going to try it out for 3 days and then see what happens. As for the address on the box, here it is for those who are in desperate need of contacting them:
ENR, LCC
3580 Wilshire BLVD # No.1190
Los Angeles, CA 90019-2501
It came in a rather unprofessional box-one that you can buy at a postal service, so I can definitely say it’s never very professional. Inside the package is just the bottle-nothing else. No pamphlets, no sheets, nothing.
As for the actual product, I tried it out for the first time today and it DOES leave your skin rather soft after usage-and the smell isn’t as terrible as everyone else says. It’s a natural medicine smell, I think.
I wonder if I’ll break out. >< Wish me luck!

Ok folks here is the deal about Zyporex. You may want to know if it works? well that is really dependent upon how you use it. I have been using it for about 2 months and have seen a difference in my skin. I have moderate acne with ingrown hairs from shaving. I have tried it all believe me. Zyporex is a great exfoliator and leaves my skin fresh and smooth. My complexion is brighter and my skin feels good most of the time. I admit that it isnt for everyone, especially those with sever acne. I also dont encourage one to use it more than once a day.
You are also going to need to pair it with other good products because, once you exfoliate your skin, your pores are open and may clog.
Acne is a hell that so many of us live with. some things might work for others and be harmful to many. it sucks, believe me i know. I have missed out on many beautiful days and nights because I wanted to hide my face from society.
I know a lot of people dont like this product, but I do. Im not going to say its the best thing since sliced bread, but it does help my skin. BTW the weird smell that it has is tea-tree-oil.
which is really good for the skin!

I agree with the above by larry. I received my stuff on time, i did notice that exfozit and zyporex are identical products, but my skin is the best it has been in a long time. prior to using it, my old acne breakout was beginning to clear, and i used the products. the next day, it was ALL healed up. i could not believe it and thought it was just better on its own as it would have been with one nights’ sleep. But three days into using it, it is soooo smooth, even toned, and best of all my pores are not clogged up from wearing heavy make up; (i was travelling and wore makeup (foundation, concealer on old spots, and touch up mineral powder in between) for up to 10 hrs a day). I was sarcastic to buy it, but my man even said “i think this stuff really worked, you have a doll like skin”. wow…i really like this stuff so far. i just hope it will not start to fail shortly into the treatment like proactive has failed me and made my skin horrible. so we will wait and see. the smell is acutually awesome and that was the first thing i noticed (tea tree oil and lavender)-you must like herbal/natural aromatherapy like scents to truly appreciate this stuff. and the 12 hour miracle works on spots in hours!!! i was so shocked and could not believe it. i am shocked at some of the negative reviews, i can say from experience that the scrub will make your skin red-use before bed after washing make up off with a proper make up cleanse firts-my fave clinque gel cleanse-awwwwesome!, then scub it with the stuff in circular motion, then put on the acnevva serum. i let that sink in then put on a light weight moisturizer-my fave clinique dramatically different moistruizer, or cetaphil. i have tried and wasted a LOT of money so the above is my years of research and so far my fave. hope it helps. ps. my biggest problem was clogged pores from foundation-i now like true blend by cover girl for when my skin feels dry, then touch up with mac translucent powder through out the day, or mac studio finish on spots and in between for more coverage on top of the moisturizer-30 min. into it sets in with my natural oils and looks non caky-you can also try the mineral water spray over the face to set and tone the foundation if looks too caky. for under eyes-i discovered a miracle, guerlain ‘issima precious light illuminator’ fantastic!!! it really gives the rest of the skin a fresher look and years off tired eyes-i work nights :)
and a lipgloss-my current fave sally hansen lip inflation. hope this helps…and i would give the orovo 3 step a try if u feel u have no other choices left but are too afraid to try cause of the negative reviews. it worked for me. good luck

I ordered Zyporex a few days ago online with my visa card. My son has very bad acne and is looking for something that works. He has tried ProActive, Acutane Pills & Murad, all of which did not work for him. The new gentle formula Pro Active is helping to keep it from breaking out extremely bad but is not very swift in clearing it up. I have not received Zyporex yet and after reading a lot of these reviews, I am skeptical about it. I do not want my son to get worse for using it but if it actually for him, which it seems to for some, than maybe it’s worth trying. I emailed the email address shown on the website but was leary of the confirmation email I received from a “hotmail” address. I am not worried about getting my money back if it doesn’t work, as I have paid for it with visa, and my visa company has a 90 day guarantee with it which I have used before and have received money back for bad ebay purchases, etc. If you paid for anything with a visa card or any credit card, you should call the credit card company and check to see if they have such a policy. It is really great and you don’t have to worry about ever getting ripped off. In saying all that, I just wanted to give some of you some hope in getting your money back for Zyporex. It may work for you. I will update you on how the product works for my son once I receive it and he uses for a while.

Pocketaces says:
I’m on day two of using Zyporex. I only have mild acne, maybe 2-3 visible pimples or so at a time.
I recently started changing my eating habits though.. eating better foods, drinking lots of water, and about a month ago I even tried the 3 day apple fast. This stuff does work and really helps clear your face right up. The key is to maintain the positive eating habits afterward. I’ve noticed that even eating an apple a day has kept my skin from breaking out. I’ve tried accutane in the past (but who likes to have a blushing face 24-7?). I’ve tried Tetracycline but I could never incorporate it into my schedule since It had to be taken on an empty stomach and just had so many rules that it wasn’t for me with a busy schedule.
The most cost-effective treatment that you could do is just start eating properly, drink lots of water (it’s good for your skin, and has many other benefits).
For all those with negative reviews, my question is this:
Do you eat properly? Do you drink lots of water? Do you go to the bathroom regularly? That may seem like a strange question, but your body needs to rid itself of all the toxins in your body, else they get reabsorbed back into your system and you won’t be helping yourself. If your not going at least once or twice a day, then look into it, it just may be the answer your looking for.
After a month of use of Zyporex and positive eating habits, I will post my experience with this product and whether or not I would truly recommend it to mild acne sufferers.

thankyouthankyouthankyouthankyou every one who posted their review/opinion….i was so close to buying it. i suddenly began breaking out summer ‘07, having close to perfect skin before that. i went from severe to relatively moderate acne-i’ve got combination skin, so its tough to find things that work, and most online-scam products tend to cater to us combination suffers.
For me, the neutrogena three product system worked well-i think it was called “complete acne therapy system”, and so did the stress relief line. Acnefree worked pretty well to. also, try sticking to organic/natural as much as possible if you have combination skin…I like using green tea and as a wonder, and you must must try this…apple cider vinegar as an astringent…it works amazingly. it stings alot in the beginning but it gets better. for me, my skin looked loads better within hours (i kid thee not.) that and drink an assload of water everyday.
Anyway-this was the only review i could find so yes, obviously i’d take it as a scam :/ how lame of people. but i hope this was helpful. good luck in you’re quest for clear skin fellow viewers/victims. and thanks for saving us from this! :D

This product is the best thing for acne. My son age 26 has had severe cystic acne since his early teens. Nothing worked,-proactive, tried all the over the counter, antibiotics, even laser therapy didnt do much. but this stuff cleans his skin and sooths it down and it looks really nice.. he’s having a relapes because he ran out. we live in the UK and so its more expensive but much cheaper then the -useless- stuff the dermatoligist sold him

Zyporex does work for me….unfortunatly I am unable to use it and my skin has gone terrible again. this is purely due to the fact that ordered my second bottle of zyporex on 13 OCTOBER 2008, and have waited 40 BUSINESS DAYS and i still havn’t recieved it.. They havn’t even bothered to reply to the 3 emails I sent them. They are just a bunch of crooks. Your better off purchasing from ebay, at least it will be cheaper too.

I have used Zyporex for about a year now. It works well for me. I have never had an issue with them. Granted, I live very close to where they ship the product from.
There is no miracle acne cure! You have to eat right and not touch your face. If you have bad cystic acne you should go on accutane. It’s the only thing that will help. If you have a few blemishes a topical product works. Otherwise, you have to get something really powerful. Good Luck.

I’ve been using Zyporex now for 10 days and it’s first use actually did make my skin feel softer and clearer, but after about the 5th day, I noticed it started to make my skin very dry and uncomfortable and I started breaking out again> I will stop using this product tomorrow.

PLEASE READ THIS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I am in my late twenties n this is the first time i have visited this site. I’ve always had mild acne until aba a year ago when it went from mild to severe. I tried everything from Oxy10, clean n clear, Proactive, the list goes on. Before I knew it my confidence had hit rock bottom n my social was on hold. I cudn’t go out anymore cus i had huge zits on both cheeks and sometimes on the tip of my nose. Eventually I decided being a full time student to use my student loan to go for an N-Lite treatment. I found this clinic on Harley Street in London. During my first consultation my aesthetic nurse advised me to try something else instead of the N-Lite n i’m glad he did. The N-Lite wuda cost me more in the end.
One word OBAGI. It’s a bit pricey but here’s the thing I don’t even wear make-up anymore. My acne is not gone but my skin is soooo much better. The products dont just work on acne they work on scarring and hyperpigmentation as well.
This is the address http://www.freedomhealth.co.uk. The ppl are real.
PS: I’m going out next week Saturday.

My son received the Zpyporex and it made his skin feel really soft. but did dry it out a little. It is brown goop and smells like tea tree oil, which isn’t that bad. I think it will work if your acne is not too severe. We are trying a new product now called Face Doctor, which is available at Walmart for less than $20 a bar. You may want to check it out as you won’t be out a lot of money if it doesn’t work for you. It has won 3 awards in China and they have a toll free number that you can call for help. I called and the guy was really great on the other end and talked with me for about 15 or 20 minutes. Anyway, one of the bottles of Zyporex that I received was broken when we received it. My son tried it for a couple of weeks and it seemed to be working a little but with his cystic acne, I don’t think it’s the right product for him. I contacted the company and they replied to me telling me to send back the remaining product for a full refund. I am going to send it back and if they don’t refund my money, which I think they will, I will go to my visa company, which has a money back guarantee on purchases that go bad. I’ll get back my money one way or another. I really don’t think that they are a rip off company and it is worth a try if your acne is not too severe. It may just work for you.

first of all, i want to thank you all so much. i am in high school and have had a breakout going on since early summer and its only getting worse. i have tried a decent amount of stuff like st.ives apricot scrub, neutrogena on-the-spot acne treatement, etc. i find that the aveeno blemish control (i may have messed up the name but thats the general idea of what its called) works wonders. you use it, it has an exfoliating scrub side and the next day your skin is rather soft and the pimples greatly diminished. some even have gone away. but after using it for extended periods of time my acne just comes back with a vengence. so now i amusing many different products and not getting much of a result.
i am sooooo frustrated and in my frustration almost bought this zyporex because i got onto acnecuresrevealed.net, went to beggar my parents into letting me buy this, and my skeptical father forced me to do some further research. i researched and he printed out some stuff on the ingredients.
turns out that theres nothing in zyporex that helps prevent acne or even fight it. all it is is a scrub. big woop. so for all you lucky folks who don’t have much acne go ahead and try it.but for the rest of us, lets stay clear of zyporex.
so. obviously after reading all the stuff on this site i didn’t purchase zyporex. and thank god. i cannot believe how huge a scam this is…. simply unbelievable.
well, thats it for now. anyone know stuff that will cure acne for an oily face that gets dry easily?
thanks again,
Jules

Living in Pittsburgh, it took a few days to recieve Zyporex considering it was being shipped from LA.
I e-mailed them for curiosity becuase I had been reading these posts where they do not contact you back after being e-mailed and that is a lie. They e-mailed me the next day giving me the shipment number and confirming the date of shipping which was the day before I e-mailed them.
I’ve been using Zyporex for about two-three weeks now and honestly I like the feeling I get after using the product because my face actually feels clean, and the best part is that I can use it in the shower which is what I needed. The smells a little harsh, but get over it.
I could never handle using the 3-step systems because I felt like they got me nowhere and i spent 20-25 minutes after showering using proactiv with little to no results.
I use Zyporex in the shower every time, then after i dry my face and brush my teeth and stuff, I apply a layer of benzoyl peroxide 2.5% lotion (or if you’ve previously used Proactiv, finish using the Repairing Lotion bottles before you go out and buy some from CVS/Eckard). And if you need to use a non-oil moisturing lotion afterwards. Honestly I feel 100x more confident about my looks. I had relatively bad acne before and it’s turning itself around. Not gone yet, but i look and feel a lot better.

I ordered this product yesterday just minutes before finding this site. I immediately emailed them to cancel my order(within 10 minutes of ordering) and they took a day to get back to me. Their response was that they are sorry for my inconvenience but my product has already been shipped out.Yeah right! What a scam! I am not looking forward to the hassle of trying to get my money back, and may have to eat the cost if it’s too much trouble. Good thing I only ordered the 1 bottle. But still, it’s the principle of the whole thing. Any customer service minded company would not take a day to email someone back, and put their payment through anyways knowing the customer is unhappy. I haven’t tried this product yet, obviously, and may not considering all the negative comments I’ve read.

JES says:
As with any produt, you’re going to find mixed reviews on the WEB and you are not going to know whether those claims are true until you try the product for yourself. So all of you that are freaking over purchasing the product and now regretting it based upon information contained here, relax. This stuff doesn’t cost a fortune and judging by the size of the bottle, it is more than a 30 day supply, contrary to information here and my own practicle experience with other products, even if you wash with it twice a day. I’m 49 years old and have suffered from cystic acne all my adult life. I have lived with the frustration and insecurity. Now my daughter has acne–not cystic acne (yet) but acne severe enough that it is resulting in her getting teased at school which, of course, breaks my heart. I can tell you from nearly 30 years of trying every product available including accutane, all of the products with overaly drying affects like products containing benzoil peroxide or salicylic acid, tmake acne worse. The worsening of the acne comes from the over drying of the skin and that’s the huge mistake most acne sufferers make because we have overly oily skin. Tea tree oil is proven to have the same medicinal affects as benzoil peroxide but because it’s a natural oil, it does not dry your skin nor does it leave your skin overly oily–in fact, it doesn’t leave your skin oily at all. For those that do get a benefit from benzoil peroxide without the drying affects (usually those that have a pimple vs. acne), tea tree oil has the same affect but takes a little longer to work. Zyporex has tea tree oil in it and in enough quantity, that you can smell it. It has a very distinctive smell. Now I’m not saying Zyporex will work. Frankly, I have no idea. I just bought it for my daughter and my hopes are that it will, but I refuse to freak out and be looking for ways to get my money back before I try the product. So relax, try the product, and if it doesn’t work after a reasonable period of time, then look to get your money back. And to the person who posted about having cystic acne, I am so glad this product worked for you. Cystic acne is the worse kind and can cause disfiguring scars and scars on your self esteem that will last a lifetime. Remember who you are on the inside is much more important than who you are on the outside but I am also very glad you are looking good. By the way, has anybody asked themselves who started this–what this person’s quals. are to make the original statements made about Zyporex only being good for an exfoliant. Clearly the originator does not know the benefit of tea tree oil. Here’s an idea do some independant research on the ingredients and their benefits and make an informed decision. Most of these posts are from people that have either recently purchased the product or were about to purchase it without any practicle experience with the product or knowledge of the ingredients. Here’s another helpful hint–try some oil free non-comdegenic moisturizer too. Do not overdry your skin–it cause your skin to product more oil.

Steve…you’re coming off like an idiot, mate. You can’t sue them for advertising their product. You certainly can’t sue them for “switch and bait” as you call it. I have no idea where you’re getting the bait and switch charge from, as no one has brought forward anything that’s even remotely close to that in regards to the company selling the product.
Everyone here should just consider their money lost to a good cause…you’ve learned a good lesson about internet commerce. Don’t believe online reviews unless they’re hosted on an OBVIOUSLY legitimate third-party website. Even then, I still wouldn’t believe them. Do your research. Use your common sense…if something sounds too good to be true, it most likely is. If there were a miracle acne cure product out there that cures everyone 100% with no side-effects and costs $20, do you think there would be ANYONE in the free world left with acne? Don’t think so.
The company didn’t do anything wrong…they marketed successfully and you bought the product. Don’t blame them.
Remember: CAVEAT EMPTOR!

This site is depressing… I’ve been using the Zyporex for a week now and my skin ACHES with deep rooted pimples that weren’t that bad a week ago.. I was hoping this was the result of the bad ’stuff’ being brought out of my skin, which usually happens after facials etc, and then is followed by clearer skin… I am crossing every appendage on my body that it will clear!!!
After reading all this though, my heart is sinking and I feel like i’m full of false hope… I will give it the requisite two weeks and then post the results here again…
I am a lawyer too and if they do not properly refund (which I feel will be the likely end result of this!) then they will certainly have a fight on their hands!!!
I’ve got to say, I am SO SICK of false hopes, thinking things will work and then getting nowhere…. I hate my skin and just wish that just ONCE there really was a treatment that worked as it said it did!!!

1) Just because something is natural, does not make it good, beneficial or safe. Think about it! You can have a severe allergic reaction to cat dander! Grasses, wheat, eggs and pollen… I wouldn’t dare eat a mushroom growing wild in my back yard, nor would I smear goat droppings on my skin and expect benefit. Get my point?
2) Not ALL synthetics are bad. Biochemists are quite remarkably capable of extracting beneficial, organic chemicals from complex chemical compounds of various plant species etc. The result is often a preparation that works better, more effectively and more efficiently than the “magic ingredient” in its raw, original form.
Think penecillin vs. mold (its natural origin)
3) What works for one does not always work for others. Also, how a product is used will effect the outcome. Other factors include ones diet, lifestyle, hormonal homeostasis etc. The human organism is a complex thing. So many factors to consider.
4) My background is in Clincal Esthetics and skin care. I am a natural advocate when a product proves itself. I have seen synthetic preparations work wonders as well. It depends on the properties of each chemical, not whether or not they are natural.
5) What I have found works for me, and several (not all!) of my past clients:
1) Methode Physiodermie: Cleanser and Purifying Emulsion. Lipid based program that is scientifically based in what they dub “MEIMO” technology. Basically: Your skin’s sebum is a lipid and one of your skin’s primary functions is to keep things out of the body. Thus, the best way for active ingredients to enter the dermal layer of the skin (where they can actually take effect and impact the skins many functions) is to be prepared in a lipid based carrier that closely resembles the lipids made by the skin (sebum). All in all, penetration depends on molecular size and structure. I could go on for days here…. Summary: Not all oils are bad and not all oil-free products are good. Jojoba oil (which closely resembles skins natural sebum) has been shown in studies to reduce sebum output thus, reducing excess oil production by the skin which in turn reduces pore clogging.
Dimethicones are from Silicones and are commonly found in oil free products and makeup to impart that nice “slip.” This can trap sebum in pores equalling more blackheads.
Physiodermie also makes a Biogommage that is worth its steep price tag of around 90$ Canadian.
The big wonders: Diet! Lots of water (detoxifys) The body works as a whole thus, homeostasis(balance) is key for all systems. If the bowels and kidneys are not eliminating at top efficiency, the skin is going to take a bit of the job on.
Water, Greens supplement to alkalanize the body, antioxidant rich foods, chromium – to control blood sugar spikes which create inflammation and oil production, and EFA’s! I love the supplement “Perfect Skin.”
Sleep = repair
Exercise = nutrient rich circulation and lymphatic drainage (positively effecting skin’s immunity).
Blackheads are sebum and dead skin cells that once exposed to oxygen, turn black. Its the melanin (cells responsible for pigmentation) that make the plug turn black/brown upon exposure to oxygen..
Will all this said and done, I still have some itsy bitsy blackheads. Only seen if I literally examine my pores closely. I hate them and really, a few of them are pretty much bi-products of the skins complex factory working its full time job.
Hope this offers some valuable insight and leaves you appreciating the fine complexity of your skin’s systems.
Cheers & Beauty to you!

Oh and the above product recommendations are for those individuals who are battling comedones and clogged pores whether oily skinned or dry. Another great option for the same skin type as well as those experiencing mild to mild/mod acne characterized by blackheads, whiteheads, milia and papuleds (not cystic) is a product called:
AFAs Amino Acid Skin Care. The mild night gel, toner and cleanser nicely exfoliate the skin and hydrate from withing – note hydrate not add more oil. This can make skin look radiant. I find that it is not as irritating as Retinols and AHAs etc. Its created using amino acid known as Filigrin. I know that some medi spas offer treatment peels in varying strengths, made by this line.
For cystic, I recommend consulting with a derm who has interest in cosmetic dermatology (an interst in skin conditions that are not considered life threatening) and or a great place to start is at a local medical spa with a derm or physician on hand who can give you a consult and recommend a “supervised” course of treatment. This is where my experience as an esthetician comes from and I have seen teens and adults of all ages walk in with bad skin and over the course of 1 – 6 months, come in with beautiful skin. What I also like about medi spas with a physician of good reputation on hand, is that they often have treatments available to speed along your progress and more importantly deal with the after effects left by acne (scarring, broken capillaries and hyperpigmentation). For an Accutane strength, without taking acutane, treatments, check out a treatment called: Blue U, Blue light or Levulan with photo rejuvenation. I will explain this treatment later today. I have to run right now.
Thanks,

Aaron says:
So, I’ve been using Zyporex for about 4 weeks now. Like many of you, I was at the end of my rope – I’d been using Proactiv, which had worked great until one day, it just stopped. Zyporex has been helping a lot (I have mild to moderate acne) – it hasn’t 100% cleared me up, but it has been helping.
However, I think there’s more to it than just topical stuff that gets applied to skin:
1. DRINK MORE WATER. I cannot stress this one enough. I’ve tracked this in Excel and during the times where my water consumption was less than usual – breakout. Water is crucial for many bodily functions, but it really does help you skin.
2. VITAMINS (including Omega 3 Fatty Acids). This is another one that has to come daily – I take vitamins made from whole foods, which get absorbed better than their synthetic counterparts. Especially the Fatty Acids: these are crucial for good skin.
3. PLENTY OF SLEEP. To all you teenagers with acne: are you getting enough sleep? In my early twenties, this was another thing I looked at, and sure enough, days with plenty of sleep traditionally carried less acne.
My point is this: there is more to helping acne than what cream we’re putting on our faces. As far as Zyporex goes, it hasn’t 100% cleared me up, but I like how it makes my face feel and it has helped a lot. I’ll continue using it for now; I would encourage everyone to take previously mentioned advice and remember that all skin types are different. What works for one person will not necessarily work for another.

I just received my bottle of Zyporex yesterday. It came exactly two days after I ordered it. It is one of the best exfoliating cleansers I have ever used. Your skin will be extremely smooth immediately after you use it. It is also all natural so there aren’t any harsh ingredients to irritate your skin. Now to weather this works or not for acne skin, I wouldn’t know because I don’t have acne. I have frequent but few breakouts that I wanted to get rid of and just after two days of using Zyporex, it has already gotten rid of them. So if you have moderate acne, then you should try Zyporex. It is only $30 and you can get your money back if you want to return it plus the money for shipping and handling.

I just ordered Zyporex and started using it two days ago. It says to just use it once a day “but” if you wear make-up you need something to wash your face with at night before going to bed!
What concerns me is that it’s like an exfoliating scrub you can feel the little sand grains on your face and as far as I know you are not supposed to exfoliate your skin everyday it’s bad for your skin any dermatalogist will tell you that you should only exfoliate your skin once or twice a week!
I haven’t seen any great difference yet but it’s only been two days and tonight I decided to get a cotton ball with toner on it and clean my face.
Well to my suprise the cotton ball looked really dirty…..and I had just washed with the Zyporex. Now I don’t know if that stuff that came off on the cotton ball is “dirt” or if it’s the Zyporex that is supposed to remain on your face???
Does anyone know about this?

I am getting really worried now! Where were these reviews before i ordered it!!! Anyhow I ordered it last week and I am expecting it anytime now, I was quite an idiot to actually buy the two bottles! I hope it actually works… i will give it a try! I have pretty much tried EVERYTHING (eg. loreal clear zone, clearasil, st Ives, neotrogena, clean and clear, vichy, body shop tea tree products, Proactive ( I HATE IT), antibiotics, and even Accutane! ive tried even more stuff but cant remember them right now!)
nothing seems to give me permenant results even accutane surprisingly!!!
lets see what this one does!

Well… i just ordered this 2 days ago and already got an email confirmation that my order has shipped… i am not one to go by reviews as everyone is different… different chemical balance, different skin type, different a lot of things… i don’t have severe acne, and i’m currently taking Aldactone for my acne prescribed by my dermatologist and that has helped with breakouts… however she also gave me differin to use for my blackheads which has not done anything for them :(… I am hoping this scrub will help with that…. i am always willing to give it a try and i am so sorry for all of you who had a bad experience with this company… i will let you know how my experience goes… i’m crossing my fingers… thanks for all the help :)
And if anyone has used anything for blackheads let me know if you’ve found something that works… I usually get one breakout (4 or 5 pimples) a month (thanks to being a woman ;))… so hoping this scrub along with the Aldactone will help… :)

Jessica,
I had the same problem but I contacted them giving all my order details through their Ebay site. I first asked them to resend the order and waited. I waited 3 months for the product because it works really well for my daughter but it didn’t arrive. I sent them another email asking for the refund and it was put in the account the next day. There was no problem. Try to remain reasonable with them, sometimes it really is a problem with the postal service.
I agree with the advice not to panic and send the product back before even trying it. It just might work for you.

I purchased zyporex 2 months ago (one bottle) for my daughter and I to try. We previously tried ProActive, it was way to harsh and didn’t work. We both have seen improvements. Overall skin is much clearer and less severe breakouts. NO CURE, but I think we are aware that there isn’t one :(
Anyways, that is my 2 cents. A 1 month supply has lasted 2 ladies, 2 months. That makes it not so risky to try and worth buying again. The stuff isn’t pretty or sweet smelling, but from my experience, those things are nothing more than additives that irritate the skin.
Another note, I love not having to use mulitple products. Just wash and go. No drying creams etc. The product doesn’t dry out your skin either.

Zyporex is the only product that helped my acne. I have had acne since I was 11. I am now 29. Zyporex rid me off breakouts almost immediately. I have tried every acne medicine going and Zyporex works. I don’t even break out during the time of month every woman breaks out. Thank you Zyporex for ending my 18 year battle.

SCAM!
“Zyporex” = “Pronexin”
I knew the site looked too clean, too perfect, too…something. It was fishy from the start, but I bought it anyway. Just look up the sites for “Pronexin” and “Zyporex”- they are exactly the same fake-looking product, and these people also run the acnecuresrevealed site. It’s all the same graphics-they are just scam artists who fooled a whole lot of people.
I hope that someone sues them…

Zyporex has done a great job for me… my pores are smaller, blackheads are disappearing (which was the main problem with me) and no breakouts yet… I have been using the product for a little over a week! Also, I received the product in about 4 days after ordering it… nothing but a success for me…. just give it a chance for all of you who are wondering if it is legit or not… i found this site after i ordered the stuff and decided to still give it a chance… everyone is different.

I ordered Pronexin on March 11 and then I found this website for reviews on Zyporex and I thought I may as well kiss my money goodbye. Well, I received the product yesterday. I thought I will give it a shot. I have been battling acne since my early 20’s and I am now approaching 40. I have used accutane after tying just about everything else on the market. Proactive worked for me for about 2 years and then stopped working. My skin is not as bad as it used to be. I am just red and blotchy at times now with the odd pimple showing up. Zyporex and Pronexin appear to be the same product from the identical websites to the accual product description. The smell is of Tea Tree Oil and it is brown in colour and a little grainy like an exfoliant. It is not harsh though and shouldn’t irritate most skin, though if you have cystic acne it may! I will try it and see how my skin fares. If I have a massive breakout I will know it was from this product because I never get more than one or two pimples every month. If it calms down the blotchy redness of my face I will be happy. If not it will be back to using Spectroderm again and no big loss!

I ordered the Zyporex for my teenage son, then read some comments on how this stuff is a rip off, so I immediately cancelled my order, but they had already charged my card. But guess what, in about 2 days they posted a refund to me, and then in another couple days a bottle arrived in the mail. It took less than a week and the bottle arrived. My son tried it, he likes it. It smells nice. It is a very light scrub, has some very light grainy things in it. Its a green color and I think it smells sort of like pine. i just tried it myself and its very soothing. The prescriptions my son had were making his skin red and dry and he wouldnt use them, he uses the Zyporex and his skin is much clearer. Not completely clear, but he’s not using it every day either. I think Zyporex is a great product. Go ahead and order it if you want to try it..

I placed an order for Zyporex on March 12. It is now March 29 and I still have not received. This is a bit odd as I had always received within 10 days. Now I am feeling that the company may be jipping me. I’ve read all the negative comments above but can honesty say that the stuff, as bad as it smells, has seemingly worked for me. I am in my early 40s and have suffered from mild to moderate acne my whole life. The stuff seems to tame the 2 or 3 pimples I get at any one time and reduce the healing time overall. Now I wonder if the company is going out of business as I have not received my order yet. I may be a fool, but the stuff has been working for me.

OK. I have been using it for about a week and a half. My skin is fine. No rash, redness or blotchiness from it. I do not have severe acne as accutane cleared that up but my face is usually red and has the occaisional pimple. I use Pronexin once a day at night. My skin feels good and looks good. I don’t know if this is from using Pronexin or not. In any case it has not done me any harm so far and my face is soft and clear right now.

Hello,
I tried pronexin…it didnt work for me, but they did have GREAT customer service and was very prompt on their response time. I also received a full refund with no questions asked…so if you want to try it, then do it….I did, and don’t regret it, because I didnt lose any money out of my pocket…and it may work for others and not me (I even used murad and that didnt work)
So just to let others know, please do not bash this face scrub, because it might prevent others from buying something that actually works for them!

I bought this product – it took about four weeks to get to me, which I thought was weird, an kind of unprofessional.
When I got the product (finally) the first thing I thought, was ‘God that stinks so bad’. I used it for about two weeks, and saw no noticeable difference to my acne. My skin felt slightly sticky and tackyn after using it, even though I was really religious about washing it off properly; I also noticed some puffiness on my forehead and nose (but that may not be directly linked with the product).
To people considering buying this, I would say not to. I’m not sure if this is a scam, because there are tons of positive reviews for it (are they from people in the company, maybe?) but it just did not work for me the way I really hoped it would. My acne is moderate (I have random pimples on all areas of my face, which has combination skin – both dry and oily in different areas – the pimples I have are a mixture of blackheads, red swellings and pustule-like whiteheads).
To people who want good acne treatments, I would recommend the ‘Clinique Blemish Solutions’ Cleanse Tone Moisturise routine (I think that’s what the product is called – it comes in like turquoise-y bottles) from the Clinique counters and online. That has worked really well for me, because it’s great for combination skin; also, my doctor prescribed ‘RoAccutane’ medication for me, which is a pill that you take every day; so far that is working pretty well for me. I get really dry lips, but I just always carry Vaseline with me, and that’s all sorted. My sister took ‘RoAccutane’ for a year, and her skin is now beautiful amazing clear, and it was worse than mine.
I hope this helps people – good luck to everyone with bad skin! I just wish people realised how upsetting it can be to have acne, so keep trying! :D

For all those people considering buying this product, I would recommend PLEASE DON”T!! Firstly I purchased 3 bottles of this product. after 6 weeks I have not yet received the products. When I followed up initially, they said that there was a small computer error and my products have not been shipped yet. They informed me that they would send it straight away. However after another 3 weeks I follwed up with them, and they asked me to check with my customs in my country. when I asked them for a shipment number, they checked and informed me that they haven’t sent it after all, and that they have further computer system issues. After nearly two months from ordering this product, I haven’t received any products or got a refund from this company. This appears to be a complete sham and all I have been doing is following this up via email with them (who seem to be a group of completely unprofessional people!!).
Further I have now read so many reviews of how bad the product is. Not sure what the process of reporting this company is for fraud. But I certainly wouldn’t want anyone else to be suckered into purchasing this.

My last post was in february, I have been using the product for about 2 months now, i think it is a good product for mild acne not severe one, and I am not sure how well it would suit sensitive skin, because the scrubbing nature of it, can be harsh for sensitive skin.
I personally dont hate it but am not in love with it either! I like it, its a good cleanser/ scrub, but dont expect miracles! it does help, i noticed it helped and worked a lot at first then it pretty much became more of a regular cleanser for me,
what I did like tho is the little spot treatment that came with it, (i ordered two bottles so i got one of the 12 hours spot treatment) that thing actually works BUT the bottle is so small and finishes quick but when I was consistent in using it it actually cleared up the new acne!
so this product may actually work for you, its a good product, natural, but dont expect immediate miracles!
I dont think I will order it again, I may want to try a different cleanser!

I just bought Pronexin online and found that the confirmation email they sent me was very sketchy! I found this site right after and I feel so stupid for buying into this scam! I’ve tried calling a bunch of numbers but of course their message inbox is full and the other numbers had been disconnected. I just want to make sure that they won’t be stealing money from my account/using my visa and if anyone knows how I could go about cancelling this order before it is sent that would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks so much!

I’ve been reading these reviews after buying the identical product under the name ‘Pronexin’. The website for it is identical, and so too seems to be the product. As if anyone needs another warning, don’t purchase either. I’ve come across the ‘zeno’ acne clearing device which apparently works by light and heat. I haven’t used is so can’t comment on whether it works, but perhaps check that out instead. Either way, the pronexin/zyporex doesn’t work, and really does leave the skin oily. As for the people worried about whether they’ll receive it, I did within a week which is actually quite good considering I live the UK. I have read reviewers saying they WILL refund it, but it takes a lot of contacting and effort. Good luck to you all, and please be aware there are so many fake products masquerading as the miracle cure that really doesn’t exist.

I too tried Zyporex about a year or two ago. It only worsened my already severe acne (cystic and regular – I’m now 30 and my skin is worse than it’s ever been since breaking out at 12).
Well, they got me again! I ordered Acneticin a 10 days ago, and it seems like they just took my money and ran. The website says that orders are usually shipped within 3-5 business days, so I should have gotten it on 8/7/09 at the very latest. I even sent them an email asking about it and no response (even though it says someone will answer within 24 hours – it’s been about 96 hours now).
That’s so depressing. $90 later and now I need some prozak or something to live with my horrible skin. :(

I dont think its really one of those things you can just take other peoples word for. Everyones skin is different and everyones skin has a different reaction to everything.

I too have mild acne and have been using this product for about a year. It is just about the only thing that works for my skin. I agree it’s not a miracle cure but I find it’s one of the only products that doesn’t dry my skin out or irritate it. I have tried so many other products including Proactive (which only worsened my acne and dry my skin out) that when I finally found one that didn’t make my skin red and inflammed I stuck with it. I don’t think it’s as bad as people have said and I do recommend trying it. I agree that it did take them awhile to ship the product to me but I did end up getting it.

People do realise that unless you go to a doctor and get a prescription for your level of acne, none of these products are going to work.
This is a good facial scrub, that is not going to do anything in the way of making your acne any better, however, it’s a decent product, that effectively cleans away impurities and keeps your skin clean. This can help as prevention for acne to get any worse.
Just go to the freaking doctor people!
