Hi Lydia,

Thank you for the feedback.

Acne is a health issue and the number one factor in maintaining good health is diet. With this in mind, it stands to reason that diet plays a central role in the development of acne.
I make no claims that a healthy diet will "cure" acne for everyone, and I have yet to find any scientific journals or articles that have sufficiently addressed the effects of diet on acne.

In any case, the information and advice that I offer is based on my experience and, so far, everyone that I have helped personally has improved their skin by listening to that advice.

There are situations for people with weakened immune systems, such as those on anti-inflammatory medication, for which a healthy diet may not clear the skin entirely. BUT, an unhealthy diet will definitely make it worse - and that says enough for me!

So YOU have discovered the reason that everybody in the world gets acne, and science still hasn't? Bravo. - "What most people are yet to discover (scientists included) is that acne is the result of unhealthy toxins building up in the body"

You don't think that there are thousands of people throughout the world who have a very healthy diet, and still get acne?

You don't think that there are even more thousands of people worldwide who have terrible diets, yet don't get acne?

Are you a doctor or a scientist? Didn't think so. It's probably not wise to claim that you know more than they do, then.

I am 29, I never had severe acne until after I had my son in 2005. I also started natural health classes then so I ve learned about the crap in our processed foods. I stick to a pretty clean diet and work out 6 days a week at an advanced level now. But I still have severe acne. My conventional doctor cheked my thyroid, and found it to be fine. I am desperate for help. And I to have tried everything out there. I just ordered some zyporex today. My acne hurts my face. And even my children say something about it. Do you have any test that can be taken to figure out whats going on in me?

[...] You would be better off buying Himalayan Crystal Salt which would cost $10 for a bar that would last 6 months to 1 year and is more effective (I wrote a post on this earlier - Treatments for Acne Symptoms - and I have a section on it in my acne book). Additionally, using this in most cases will do nothing for the cause of acne which is not found in the skin. As mentioned earlier it is an underlying issue and acne is a symptom of it (see What Causes Acne? Behind The Science). [...]
